YMMV apparently. My CP8.0 to dealer is the only time where its been questionable. My car is still sitting at Emden port when it was originally supposed to be on a vessel 10/09. Since its almost been a month, TYD updated about a week ago saying that its been delayed till 12/09 and my car wont be on a vessel till 10/28 which is this friday. I'm crossing my fingers that it actually happens.

Your car may be in the SIEM Aristotle. Mine was supposed to be on it Friday as well and it was boarded today and the boat is out of the Emden port.

unfortunately no such luck. I just checked TYD and it looks like I got hit with another delay. Delivery now shows 12/23 and it won’t be on a vessel until 11/11.

at this point I’d actually rather them delay it further so it won’t get here till interest rates start going down.

are you in north California as well? It looks like everyone who has their car delivered to Benicia port is in the same boat. I got hit with exact same delays as you except my car has been sitting at Emden since 10/07. I’m actually quite annoyed at this delay as I was really planning on driving it around for the two weeks that I took off for the end of the year. It would have been great to just spend some time and just enjoy the car but now I probably won’t get it till end of January since I’m doing PECLA.

Sorry mate, the logic in their process is opaque. I hear you about the rates. Their delays are not helping.

They may end up putting your car through Houston like they are doing with mine. Never know, we may end up being shipmates, and be at PEC the same day.

Actually that would be pretty cool. Maybe we can coordinate doing pickup on the same day? Would be cool to meet a fellow reenlister picking up their car.

HOLY SMOKE! I emailed my SA about where I was in production because I hadn't heard anything in awhile and the next thing I know is that my BGTS is aboard the Siem Aristotle, and I need to pick dates for my day at Atlanta!!

and, this is MUCH better than last time, when I was obsessing over the (incredibly crappy) app and each stage in production and whatnot. Can't wait to see my brother in Atlanta at the delivery center! THAT'S going to be a fun day!
