Official Waiting Room for 718 Spyder / GT4 / GTS Delivery...

Power steering column isn’t even an option on 2023s. It’s removed from the feature list entirely.
So I made it to "Scheduled on Production" on 6/28 (it was showing as 7/1 earlier). "Start Production" is still showing 7/1 as of today. CP8.0 got bumped to 7/22 (from 7/8), and delivery got bumped to 8/19 (from 8/15 IIRC).
I also got the email on 7/1l that I will get manual steering column adjustment instead of power (to my dismay) and they will knock $500 off for this "inconvenience". Email below.
So it kinda seems as if they are planning to build it as 2022 but who knows. The lack of electric steering adjustment is a bummer, and and this point I wish I took a 2023 allocation I had available if that meant I would not get "downgraded" car.

The good news for any of us who don’t make the Siem Aristotle is that there are several other ships stacked up behind it over the next few weeks.

Good luck and hoping for a speedy timeframe from port to your front door.

I sat in Emden for over a month in March and several others in the timeframe I've been watching have also. It would be nice to know why, since other cars produced the same time and heading the same place hopped on boats immediately while I sat there and watched vessel after vessel come and go.

I'm in the same boat as you, re: TYD status, with 7/22 as CP8.0 and 7/1 as Estimated for Start Production. Today I contacted my SA and he sent me a picture of the PVMS tracking for my car. Everything in my TYD is the same as the PVMS Expected Dates. So good news/bad news. TYD is accurate for me, but nothing more to report on when my car will be built. We'll see what happens on 7/22, they have to have their shutdown to switch over to 2023 production, and we have to get out of their way for that! Sorry you're not getting the power adjustment for the steering column, but a 2023 car would have had a sticker price in addtion to that option not even being available.

More than likely, it's because your car isn't completely built yet. Considering the times we're living in where there are shortages, my guess is it's missing something. I highly doubt it's due to damage since it would have just rolled off the assembly line. It's probably that the car is basically built but maybe it's missing say a chip for Apple CarPlay or a chip for the navigation unit or a chip for one of the headlight options or something like that. They probably figured it's better to park it at the port because whatever the missing part is, it's easy for the port workers to install and it saves them space to not have to park it at the factory.
Good luck and hoping for a speedy timeframe from port to your front door.

Good luck with that, TYD is totally unreliable. Mine was enroute to Emden since 6/20. Today, TYD updated, and it still show enroute to Embden. And the arrival to dealer date got moved out 3 weeks.

My arrival also pushed back today, by three weeks. And I’m still “in transit” to Emden. My delivery is now more than a year after I put down my deposit.
