We’re a far cry from when I ordered my last 911 pre pandemic. From freeze to dealer was just over 30 days. Hopefully they’re making progress at figuring it out…..
awesome, congrats. Just curious how soon after build date did you get photo from factory online? My GT3 last summer took over a month, seems like your photos was quite soon after completion date. Thanks. Hope for an uneventful journey home! My Spyder is getting picked up on ED next month
It was there pretty much right away then it completed production!
BS, you're still young. (At least that's what I tell myself, I'm early 40s too)
The trick is now discovering, as an adult and a car enthusiast, if it's actually WORTH owning a Ferrari. I've long considered grabbing a 360 or even 430 spyder... but for the 100-200k I'd spend on it how much would I drive it? What would I do with it; park it at a cars and coffee next to the other old guys and their relics? Take it to the track? (no)
Chances are, this is how it would go, in order-
- I'd obsess over finding one
- be overwhelmingly excited when I work out the details and logistics of picking it up and getting it home
- be thrilled every time I start it up and back it out of the driveway
- look for opportunities to take it out on nice roads and/or show it off
- 6 months later, realize a 718 does all this and more, with modern tech and safety equipment, a warranty, at about half the cost and sounds at least 80% as good with the 4.0L
- get back on the list for a new 718 (if they're still building them)
Unless I can figure out a way to triple my income and afford to daily an SF90, the Porsche works just fine for me.
Never give up on Ferrari!!!
They are so magical and even a cheap one will give you something no other car brand will. Ferrari's are so special and I was fortunate enough to get a Scuderia 5 years ago that I will never ever sell no matter what it is worth.

I think I've given up on the idea that owning a Ferrari is an end-state. I'm going to still need a Porsche or two around if I'm going to own a Ferrari...
I need a new house and bigger garage first. Probably not a 40s goal lol... but it's still on the horizon.
2022 production numbers will be interesting to see what actually was produced (and delivered) in what volume this year compared to last year and years prior. It's going to be ugly.

Something else going on (or continuing)…992 and GT3 forums posting same delays. This has been on going for awhile; supply chain or energy related.
Makes sense, and the other milestone dates are all on Fridays so they might just be placeholders at this point, so good chance it gets pushed back further.
Good thing we live in Texas, and can drive in the winter cause at this rate Santa might be delivering it.
Ugh. My replacement GT4 for the one that was totalled on the Composer also just got pushed back almost six weeks to 9/23 (was 8/12). Working backwards, that seems like it won't be built until post-break, right?
yes, I’m a MY 22 with a 7/22 CP8.0 estimated date. Today my TYD current milestone status went from Scheduled For Production 6/24 actual to Start Production, but still with an estimated date of 7/1. Well at least that’s some
progress!

There is a hope for me then. I am still in "Scheduled For Production".
New PVMS didn't shift too much from the last one. Just one week all around for the most part. I expect the shipping side to slip from this but that's ok as long as it gets built.
