Hello everyone,

I have been a long time lurker, deposit and v070 for a PDK Spyder was July 2021 and finally received word that my wife and I have received an allocation. We are looking at a CP8 date of 4th November 2022. I don’t have a screenshot from PVMS to share but my build code below:

The only addition to the above is that it will have CXX carbon fibre trim inside and the wheel center caps will either be full colour crest or swapped for gt4 center caps (I can’t face having the monochrome crests on the satin aurum wheels).

I should add as well, I’m in the UK. I had almost given up hope of getting an allocation as I had seen so few Spyders coming to the UK. Words can’t describe how fortunate I feel to be joining you or how excited I am to be leaving this room!

Umbrella man left late last night and TYD came back to life for me! No changes to any of my dates, "Scheduled for Production" still 6/24 and "Start Production" and "Production Completed - CP8.0" still 7/1, and all the other milestones unchanged, except the final one,"Arrival Porsche Dealer", which is now 2 weeks earlier, 8/5. That sounds great, except the prior milestone, "En Route to Porsche Dealer" is still 8/19/22!

Glad to hear Umbrella Man is gone. Same for me today as well. Oddly I see the same inconsistent dates between a two week earlier arrival and en route to dealer. Fingers crossed it indeed arrives earlier than the previous 9/2 arrival ETA.

Noticed the Glovis Summit was in San Diego, so I texted my sister who lives in a high rise downtown and asked if she could see it. Sure enough, she sent me a zoomed-in and pretty grainy video of it sitting in the port.

I figured this was a safe space to share such a ridiculous story. Car arrives in Benicia tonight, should have it soon!

Five days left till my production start date. Hopefully it is real and not a placeholder. I have been trolling BAT and cars and bids with itchy fingers for a cool car. I just need to hold out for my Spyder.

I read on the 992 or 992 GT3 post someone over there is saying that if it falls on a Friday it is most likely a placeholder, sure enough I went and looked at mine and prod start, prod completed, and several other dates where all on fridays. Ugh

All of my dates were Friday. Didn’t stop me from obsessively checking every 30 mins though

For what is worth my Spyder start production date was 6/10, but it went into production on 6/21. So 11 days of delay against the schedule. CP8 continues to show 6/24, but we will see what happens. This is all per TYD.

As per BAT overtures: I’m watching this 992 Gelbgrun Touring being flipped … 🐬🐬🐬🤦‍♂️! It’s entertaining. 🤪
