of course it's just imo, but all the green/blue car with blk pccb i've seen look less eye pleasing vs std yellow caliper...
I think yellow calipers look fantastic on every 718 car in every color except those with Aurum wheels. On those cars, I think the yellow and gold just aren’t a perfect match and the black calipers look better. But I don’t dislike Aurum with yellow. I just don’t prefer it.
I have been V070 for a 2022 (now 2023) Spyder with my dealer for over 6 months and they are holding 5k of my deposit money. My salesman is now telling me I need to up my options to make the car 25k more expensive in order for me to secure an allocation. When I ordered the car in December he said a 12-16 month wait and my spec was fine. I think Porsche salespeople must live on another planet and don’t know what the interest rates and stock market is doing. Probably going to pull my deposit and cancel, they can shove their car where the sun don’t shine!!
I know many here paid ADM but I think these types of sales tactics are ludicrous. I’m in sales myself and you can’t take advantage of customers and expect them to buy from you later on when times get tough and believe me there will be some tough times ahead!
I find the wait times some dealers throw out as misleading and disingenuous. How do they know when you could realistically see a car if they don't have an allocation in hand? Short answer: they can't, it's a guess. V070 is simply a vehicle demand request. Any dealer can submit a demand request at any time. They can even submit one knowing you never have a chance to receive a car.

I think its also dependent upon wheel color in addition to paint color. I went with black calipers on mine against the aurum wheels. Granted, yes, mine are the standard steel brakes which would have been default red, but even with PCCB I would have selected black to give contrast against gold/yellow. Also complete bias since its my car lol

I've only had the car for 2 days before being sent off to PPF but I'm loving my gold on yellow.

spyder classic int may also clash a bit with yellow caliper

funny you should mention that. I saw a Chalk Spyder with the Spyder classic interior, black wheels and yellow calipers and I have to say it did not look terrible. The guy was talking about selling it and I thought about it for a couple of seconds because it looked pretty good. As others have said, it really is difficult to make these cars look bad.
Ugh, with Production scheduled to start this Friday, I just logged in and now I get the walking man. I don't know if that is a good or a bad sign.
Did you lose Umbrella Man yet? I find if I get him in doing to TYD directly in Safari on my iPhone, I can still get to TYD from the My Porsche iPhone App, and if I get him in Google Chrome on my laptop, he often goes away with a refresh. Anyway, my TYD was updated this morning. My Start Production is still tomorrow, but all of the Production Completed CP8.0, Ready for Transport, In Transit to Emden and Arrival at Emden dates are now 7/22, two weeks later than before. On Vessel is still 7/29 as before, and En Route to Porche Dealer and Arrival at Porsche Dealer are now again both at 8/19,instead of En Route on 8/19 and Arrival on 8/5! Hope you have some news too!
