Ah that makes sense why my production day isn't scheduled until 8/26. Seemed a bit far from the Freeze date of 6/25 but with the summer shutdown that kinda makes sense.

The difference is the typical month long German summer holiday. Plant is shut most of August.
Unless PTS/CXX Lock to Start Production has been a couple weeks…seems that is getting pushed to 3-4 with all the world events.
I'm out; picked up my BGTS last night. Amazing car and well worth the wait! Stek PPF and C. Quartz finest were applied before I picked it up (added 2 weeks or so given scheduling...).
From a visit to The Shop (detailing) last Friday prior to delivery (my garage isn't this clean!)
To recap for the curious:
-Confirmed interest late March 2021, on list for allocation
-Received allocation late Dec 2021
-Original delivery date 4/29
-Arrived at dealer 6/6, to detailer 6/7
-Took delivery 6/20 (if I hadn't had PPF and ceramic installed would have been 6/6)

Just got a text from my SA that my car is out of PDI at the port (Jacksonville) where it has been since 6/1, waiting for a carrier now.

It's headed toward the west coast - SD and Benicia. It got to Emden 2 days ago, so I'm sure it'll leave port in the next 1-2 days.
Outstanding! Not long to go now. My car is en route to Emden. Needs a ride to Jacksonville, and then into PEC Atlanta. Really hoping I don’t get stuck at Emden for too long like a lot of others have reported.

Sweet, congrats! Mine should be here within the next couple of days, it’s been released for transport according to my SA.
I have been waiting since October 2021 and now I have 9 days left. The last 2 days have been worse than the first 2 months of wait. Super excited and can’t wait!!
Since i haven't had TYD for 3 weeks and my SA hasn't got back I decided to call Porsche NA. Apparently they don't have access to the build status so she had to contact another department and said my start has been pushed from 6/5 to either 6/28 or 7/8, she wasn't sure which. But she did give me the VIN that has been assigned. I thought VIN wasn't assigned until the build started? Confused.
Why is your dealer so completely absent from this process? Not good.
