Any reason why you don't do the delivery at the Porsche Experience Center in Los Angeles instead?
They are only doing PECLA delivery experiences for Taycan at the moment as far as I understand (perhaps for GT3 and GT4 RS as well). I was originally planning to do PECLA and make the drive back up the coast to Seattle with my Spyder, but by the time I was able to submit an order (Dec ‘21) PECLA was no longer an option.
So the question up in the air for me right now is should I do an Atlanta Experience Center delivery!? Is it worth flying in for from California?
I am doing PEC Atlanta and my car gets delivered there by May 5th. It’s on Freedom Ace in the middle Atlantic right now.
They originally scheduled early May but today I got an update on the earliest dates starting June 14th. Out of the available dates I sent for June 30th which is just brutal considering it’ll be at the dealer within the next couple weeks.
Should be out of this room shortly. Sorry for the pic as the SA took this Taycan GTS as the main subject instead of the car in front 😡😡
But at least I know the car has finally arrived at the dealership.
Reading this thread makes me feel like we are tracking U-Boots in the North Atlantic....
In the old days I had some local friends in P-3 Orions that would have made this whole tracking thing much easier.
It was also rountine to see A-10s practicing over the Chesapeake Bay in groups of 3. Ah, memmories ....

As Don points out, it will delay you getting the car for weeks/months. Plus, after taking delivery in Atlanta, you still have to ship or drive the car back to California. If you choose the drive option, you have to solve the paint protection issue for the trip. If you choose the ship option, you have the cost and further delay. PEC Atlanta delivery was fun, however, mostly because I was able to get my wife to do the driving exercises and we had a nice meal and tour. I am glad we did it, but I would not do it again for future deliveries.
A lot of Good news brewing in here. Happy for everyone. My Production Photos just posted to TYD for me last night. I'm BEYOND excited
MechEngr, I checked this morning and saw that production had finished and the car is in route to Emden. Will TYD automatically post pictures of your car or do you have to request them? If so, how do you request the production pictures? Thanks

My TYD app updated within a few days after that status of "in route to emden" with production photos. For the first couple of those days it "was in route to emden" it also showed "Scheduled for production phase" once it went to phase 3 'Car has been produced' it updated with my photos
