sorry the date I mentioned was for arrival at the dealership. Should be at port a week prior!

My lock date and delivery to dealer are same as yours. Hoping it comes in sooner than that though.

Smile Production Blue *****

After many delays my GT4 production start date was scheduled for 04.01.22. I was pleasantly surprised to see the 1-week production process began a day early, 03.31.22. Then, instead of the Production Completed date occurring up a week later, on 04.08, it was bumped back a week to 04.17 and just last night it was bumped back another week to 04.22. Is anyone else seeing similar delays for a vehicle that is currently in production? I understand port complications and transportation delays but with Porsche's just in time production process it seems odd that the production process would go from 7 to 21 days while the vehicle is seemingly on the production line.

Yes. GT4 production is scheduled to extend at least through MY 2023. There will likely be fewer GT4s built than in previous years because of GT4RS production though. Call around and get an allocation ASAP though. With mid-engine going fully electric in the next few years, the demand for NA cars is sure to be strong.

Then you can scroll down to “Body Shop” and “Assembly” and their stock photos will have been replaced by actual photos of your car:

Thanks Todd, I really appreciate your help. I did figure out part of the problem. The SA at the dealership set up TYD for my wife when she ordered the B25. On my computer when I go to TYD it doesn’t show the phase picture at all, just the red current status line. When I checked TYD on her computer, it shows the phase picture that you have above. She is currently at phase 3, waiting to be shipped. I did press the Discover Your Phase on her computer but it only showed the red current phase line and no pictures. I will get with Porsche Customer Support and see if they can help. Thanks again for your help.

My 2022 GT4 was ordered with the red steering wheel marker but it came with this missing. The dealer said they talked to porsche and the story was it was not available with the alcantara steering wheel and they refunded the $300 or so dollars. I think the factory just forgot or did not have a steering wheel ready to install with the red marker on the assembly day.

I ordered the deviated speed blue stitching everywhere possible - even on the steering column and the door sills. The story was that all this stitching delayed the build by several weeks—

thinking of using a red felt pen to color the marker section on the steering wheel.

bought real carbon fiber outside mirror covers and they look great. Saves $1,000 plus —

Can you please provide a link for the carbon fiber mirror covers? Thanks.

Finally, it begins!

For completeness:
Shark Blue, LWBS, PCCB,b bunch of leather and Aurum wheels.
Got the allocation right before Christmas, was supposed to deliver May 27th but got bumped to 6/24 at the end of January after I made a few changes.

Thank you. This might explain my delay as well. I ordered full deviated stitching wherever possible.

Unfortunately, SA’s are not the most reliable people. I am sure they are happy to get as many deposits and people on waitlists as possible though.

With that said, I do believe that MY23 is happening, but I have no concrete evidence.

I have the red TDC market spec’d on my alcantara gt4 wheel as well so I am hoping it is possible to be done when the time comes. It’s unfortunate they did not do it for you. Link to the carbon fiber mirror covers?
