Awesome, Enjoy the new GT4. Once you get over 1000 miles and hit that 7k+ RPM you'll fully enjoy your new ride. Add some clear side markers, Ultimate cup holders and a radar detector with a BlendMount mount and you'll be all set.

 

My GT4 was built a few days ago and is already in Emden! I hope this is not a TYD glitch....

 

Same for me. Went into production last week original vehicle completion 1/21 now says 3/18.

My car said delivery date to dealer was 1/31, but the car arrived at the dealer on 1/10 lol.

Hey, everybody. I'm new here. I have a Cayman GTS 4.0 on order, but my lock date is still a month or so away. Code is PNCX8YV0. I'm struggling with the interior and wondered if anyone has a GTS with Black Leather and Extended Contrast Stitching in Bordeaux? That is my current configuration, but I debate every day if I should be doing the leather in Bordeaux/Black instead...

If someone has the stitching I mentioned, would you post or PM me a few pics? I'm sorry if it's already been posted, but this thread is 224 PAGES long and I can't find time to go through it all.. The configurator (at least in Canada) doesn't show pictures of the stitching at all... but it does have a good view of the bordeaux/black leather.

In general, that has been good advice. However, there are a number of us who have confirmed that some recent production delays reflected in TYD are in fact very real (verified by multiple SAs). Something is going on at the factory right now. Part shortage is my guess.

 

For some reason I cannot pull up that code.

 

I don't think the configurator is working right now - I can't open it either, nor can I pull up my own! I'm also in Canada...

 

Aaaaaand today...just one day after a sudden 3 week push on my delivery, I am now moved out another week to July 8th delivery.

When does MY 23 begin?

it seems like 4rs builds are coming in before that, so I wonder if my spyder build has been deprioritized in favor of cranking out 4rs'.

I am having PEC Atlanta experience and they have already reached out and emailed saying they have penciled me in for early to Mid-May pickup there.

 

Ha! That is literally the build I gave up with the dates I had (except swap silver stitching for red). Looks like you get my old build slot, possibly actually associated with an actual car. Which freakin delivers 3 months ahead of my latest updated one.

 

Something isn't right about your situation. Some of us are getting cars. There were delays, but not like you're seeing. Are you sure your dealer isn't just trading back in the draft in return for other allocations?

Something weird is happening in your case, IMO.

 

I was told commission number would change, if my actual allocation was being swapped around (which it hasn't). I actually asked my SA, and he of course said "we would never do that." Maybe the stupid burmester is my achilles heel.

If it ages enough, don't I get to just swap it for a spyder rs allocation, with no difference in cost?
