Halfmonkey , you are the man. How awesome are those pics. That car is almost exactly my spec….except no PCCB and I did get black calipers. How’s the interior look??? Thanks again for sharing!!!

2. Porsche has to be the only OEM I can think of that charges to go to black!!! Almost all charge for a colour. So it was a mater of principle. ha!..
Blue, black, and red are free caliper choices for the M3/M4. Every time I choose black on the Porsche configurator, I feel like it should be a whole brake upgrade. At least some futuristic, dust-less pads that stop better or something.

You're welcome.
The interior was yellow so it tied nicely with the yellow calipers. The dealer spec'd the car so it actually was a heavy build. It had burmester and 18 way. The gauges and chrono were also in yellow.
Spec'd meaning as part of the GTI package? Will that include the blue stitching? Or will the seat belts and stitching need to be added as "deviated"?
Apologies, just seeing this. Not sure what you mean by GTI package. For December builds a Shark Blue seatbelt can be added. I suspect the configurator will be updated soon to show this. It's the same as adding a coloured seatbelt now. i.e. Miami Blue, Crayon etc.
Saw a Turbo S in Shark Blue yesterday. Amazing color! Just a touch lighter than Voodoo which is one of my favorites.
Similar enough that I'd be rather unhappy if I spent PTS money on Voodoo!
Many thanks for the side-by-side photos. I ordered silver wheels with red calipers. I think that those will look quite good with SB exterior.
You're welcome. I'm not knocking those that pick red calipers with Shark Blue. Typically, I like the Superman combo with a darker blue like Gentian Blue but it's not to say that it can't work and I also get paying another $800 for black calipers seems like a rip off. I get it and to each their own. That's the beauty of being able to build your own car and I respect your choice.
I'm not one to spec my car with red calipers on a bright blue car just as I'm not one to order yellow or green cars but I do love those colors when I see them on other people's car. In this particular car I saw, it had yellow stitching and yellow gauges and yellow chrono. It looked awesome but I can't ever see myself ordering yellow accent bits. Thank you for not taking offense to my opinion.

You're killing me. Other than the PCCB, same exact spec. Would love to see pics.
Any more pics of shark blue with the gold wheels? I'm on the fence about it. Sometimes I think it looks really good and other times it feels a bit much.

That's the only photo I took that has the aurum wheels in view. I'll let the owner post up some more photos, he took a bunch this morning.

Totally agree with you and I absolutely love the way your Spyder turned out. I was thinking about ordering platinum wheels, but those might have clashed with the black bits on the car (taillights and such). Delivery is supposedly on 11/5.

I had the same concern with the platinum wheels for a little bit. Originally, I was going to pick silver but my wife wanted black. Once I found out there was a middle ground option and I saw the platinum I was sold but did have some second thoughts because there isn't any platinum colored bits on the car to help tie it together. Once I saw the platinum on the car IRL, I was happy since the platinum catches the light and can change to a darker or light reflection which gives it a little more character than I was expecting.
11/5 is not too far away. Hang in there. You'll love it once you have it in hand.
