Picking up this one tomorrow:

Unfortunately, Porsche ran out of deviated stitching before my build, so I couldn't include it. Otherwise, I am excited about the build.

Congrats! Please share photos after picking it up. That interior looks fantastic and I've been curious how the blue looks with a Shark blue exterior!

Thanks,
PB

Took this video of the main giant screen at Rennsport - notice what car was being highlighted on this screen as some Porsche design managers were speaking on the main stage.

Also - out of the thousand plus cars in the corral only a handful are shark blue oddly.

Good choice on the rear wiper, don't see enough of them with that option!

I don’t recall the rear window wiper on the U.S. configurator. I like the way it looks and would have ordered it on my GT3 also.

on the deviated stitching issue- zI have six different Porsche models and I have gotten over the deviated stitching 🧵 hustle by Porsche. Commercial sewing thread is not more expensive in blue versus black / and they have to sew the leather together irrespective of the thread color. $3,800 - is really ridiculous and once you have a car in the garage - the stitching really doesn’t matter. I have paid up for deviated stitching in the past but not in the future. Porsche did you a favor by letting you keep your money.

Just a couple images sporting the new look - Apollo Aero hood with custom SharkBlue painted stripe.

my GT 4 I traded in on a GT3 in almost the identical spec and I am putting these same decals on the GT3 — delivering November 7th. I like the 911 better mostly for the larger interior cabin that fits a bigger guy like myself - at 6’2” and 275 lbs. also the regular seats are more comfortable to get into and out of as well. The 718 Cayman cabin is rather cramped for larger fellows.

Also I was disappointed the engine sounds did not include the pops and backfires that the 911’s exhibit even as stock. The sound in the GT4 was kind of annoying actually. It definitely needs an after market exhaust to provide an upgrade to the engine sounds.

but the car definitely looks wonderful standing still or parked in a garage and it does corner well. Lots of road noise but the GT3 is also not a touring car.

Thank you. I wanted to keep it kind of old school, so also no fancy entry or start options/"features."

Also, the photos I shared earlier didn't have the silver wheels I ordered on the car, so here is a photo of the actual car.

Looks beautiful! I think the silver wheels complement the color perfectly. Do you have any photos of your interior?

Thanks,
PB
