Default BC Fabrications Exhaust finally arrived in US!

So after 6 months of going nuts over which exhaust to get, finally received my full BC Fabs power package. That includes steel race-style long tube equal length manifolds, under the axle mid pipes with 200 cell cats, and an inconel valved silenced rear x-pipe (which is a true x-pipe not a butt kiss of 2 bent tubes). Gonna take you through the process of getting this installed including my honest driving impressions as well as videos. I did not get this for free, it was expensive, and hopefully worth the wait and price of admission.
So here goes...
Box arrived and it looks sexy. The craftsmanship, material, and fabrication quality is breathtaking

Inconel valved/silenced X-pipe (note the x-pipe segment, this is unique to BC)

Steel headers with mid pipes (200 cell cats, black ceramic coated with heat shields) and loom extensions for post cat sensors.

Inconel rear pipe installed straight away
Here is a video of the all the parts

More to come including youtube videos with flybys and driving reviews of just the rear pipe as well as the full system.
My summary of the inco pipe is this. If you dont want crazy volume like a full system, this is very good. Like stock on steroids. The valves closed/PSE off is really nice and civilized and to be honest there is no need for PSE on since this operates like a switchpath system and theres no muffler at all, only 2 paths with different pipe diameters. It controlls volume with collisions and resonators which is kind of mid boggling what they have achieved with just physics. The mini straight pipe valves open path dramatically cuts volume and drone.
A bit of background about my impressions of the spyder in general. For me, the stock system drones 1/10 at 1800-2100 rpm, but you cannot hear the engine under 4k ever.... it ruins the car for me tbh. With valves disconnected the stock system drones 4/10, and is also unacceptable for me so I reconnected the valves immediately and decided not to purchase a valve controller. With this x-pipe, you can hear the engine at all rev ranges, drone is 2/10 (very close to stock) and its not tremendously louder than stock on full bore because the stock system is basically a straight pipe system with the valves open and you still have 4 packs of bananas plugging the manifolds and mid pipes. The inconel pipe also has a nice high pitched wail over 5k and startup is actually kind of legendary for just a rear box.
I did an experiment for those running valve controllers and unplugged the vacuum to the valves.. 1. If you are sensitive to drone DO NOT run a valve controller with this (or any x-pipe system for that matter), drone is 5/10 1800-2400 rpm (and I guarantee this is what others are seeing with x piped systems in different configurations that are not the intended design of the product. I am being brutally honest for those sensitive to resonance here.
Overall super excited to get more footage and try and capture the noise from this beast

Can’t wait to hear it! With the pace of the recall, a long lead time is no problem

It has a deeper tone that I like - I assume it was a cold start though?

It looks beautifully made.

So far, your install matches this - correct?

From what I understand, the exhaust on the video is one of the very first steel ones BCFabs made, it also uses a kiss as opposed to a X so sound will be a bit different to the Inconel one above.

^ this one has no valves and no silencers. Has come a long way since that design

I’m intrigued by what you’re saying, as I am more annoyed by drone at this point in my life than I’ve ever been before... I’ll wait for the perfect solution, or it’s no solution for me.
Looking forward to reading more about your impressions and thanks for your excellent review so far.

i think any exhaust is gonna drone more than stock. The question is how much. Theres always a resonance range but you want it as narrow as possible and more of a volume increase rather than a true resonance that rings the car like a bell. This one with pse off is pretty sweet considering you can actually hear the engine. Pse on you get deeper sounds that ultra sensitive people can interpret as drone. I just rock it pse off, theres no mufflers anyway and its like stock turned up to 18 below 4k rpms, and 13 at redline
