Thats just the rear???! Wow. On the drone comments above... K-nut said no drone on the Kline inconel system, is that still the case? Its X-pipe so is it better with PSE OFF and no valve controller? I already installed the Cargraphic Valve Controller and would prefer not to have to fish it out. I guess it doesnt matter as its just always on or normal/stock operation.

I really like the sound from the outside. Racy, but not too loud or raspy. Good choice!! interesting that with valves closed the exhaust from both banks of the engine don’t mix. I think it’s the only design like this.
Can’t wait to hear the full set up! If it doesn’t drone too much it will be a blast.

I havent driven the kline car so i cant say. The 2 kline systems i ran on my T and R8 droned but way less than others ive had and i always describe it worse than it is. Interestingly the kline droned even less with the valves unplugged on both the T and R8 which was awesome, and on the 718 they are running side cans. So its gonna be good but i need to drive it before commenting on how much it drones. I have had really good experiences with Kline systems in general, but on this car i wanted something super nasty that makes alot of power so thats why i went with this type of header design. However, the kline does sound real good from the outside. Its loud AF and more aggressive than i originally thought it would be.

supposedly there is even less resonance with the power pack because it flows better and the stock opf are like drone megaphones. We will see. I do these videos for the community so we will all find out soon enough. I will say this. If the full system actually drones even less than what i have now its gonna be the best exhaust ive ever had. Period

Ok so the rear pipe makes serious power. The best 60-130 I was able to do stock was 10.58, with the inco pipe its 9.71, and consistently in the 9s... The X pipe scavenging appears to be working nicely...
Results can be found in the dragy thread

Ok headers installed today. The GM, used car manager, and SA all asked for a ride and their jaws dropped. It sounds like a friggin cup car.
It is another level of nasty alltogether. The best parts are 1. There is almost zero drone. Almost. A very narrow resonance range 2500-2900 rpm (higher than the rear pipe alone) and you actually hear the engine roar throughout the whole rev range. Super easy to drive around. Most people wouldnt even call it drone tbh. 2. Up top the car sounds like it is on fire. The inconel pipe screams. Like when you floor it in a tunnel it feels like the tunnel is screaming at you as are the cars next to you. 3. The downshifts.... ooooh the downshifts. It sounds like the apocalypse. The sound clip below is only up to 5500 rpm.
The power should develop over the next hundred miles or so. Will report back when the DA also isnt 3000 and humid.
But yeah this is pandemonium. @K-Nut filmed me pulling into the parking lot. And he has the full kline which sounds nasty also.

I just installed them so not a huge difference yet. The car needs to adapt. That said the DA went up from 500 to 3000 in the past couple days and it still rips hard. Need to do performance testing when the ecu adapts and we have some cooler temps (for direct comparison to stock)

Ok....how about sound with valves open and closed...my guess the video was with them open.
I may changed my exhaust plans and the exact system you have is at the top of my list.

this is pse off pse on is full cup car
I think pse activates the intake valves and it gets super deep and growly. Definitely another level of volume inside cabin and standing revs.

OMG...that sounded really good so if that's with valves closed I can't imagine with them open.
Looking forward to more feedback...thanks.
