Official Dragy Leaderboard. How fast is your NA 718?

How much are we thinking PDK is worth actually? Half a sec 100-200? The actual time lost to shifting twice is longer than that but there's a bit less drivetrain loss and a tiny bit less weight to compensate somewhat. We need a stock PDK car I guess.
FWIW my 454 PS 3.8L PDK 981 had a best time of 7.8s, average around 8.0, but that car is not entirely comparable.

Yeah, thanks. Actually my 981 had 444 PS (fabspeed plus pse) when I did that sub-8 run, the 454 was later on when I swapped the entire exhaust system out for bigger and better.

Patiently waiting until some more people come out to play before posting some representative times from our car
Keep them coming guys, this thread is going to be fun

if they are mid-high 7s postem up. Lets get a target to beat. I ran .2 sec slower with bmc filters alone than whats posted with “full system”. So you are defo faster than that. Also list other mods like wheels, aero and weight savjng stuff and surface transforms if theyre on the car.

I believe his last time was also at the track which is sub-optimal for times. Given that there are 2 shifts involved I expect PDK to be a few tenths quicker on average also. With the 6spd it's all about how quickly you want to slam in the gears.

Was looking at this old post; were the graphs mislabeled? If not appears the stock system is 1.3 seconds faster going uphill compared to the modified going downhill...
I must be missing something.

I just threw the dragy in the car on track when lapping, no dedicated runs. Had a passenger, hot tyres, 3/4 tank, slightly up hill, it was windy and the DA was awful as shown on the screen shot also. I didn’t think that the times would then be posted into an official leaderboard when I was asked to share 😂
When I posted originally I did explain this but I think that’s been forgotten since. I forget the post / thread where I posted the screen shots originally
We have done a few dedicated runs since then, I’ll be waiting until others show their times before posting anything more up now it’s more clear how the times are being used / compared

Stock times were very slightly downhill. Modified uphill.

I raced an RS for fun but i cant post the video. Its not dramatically faster even against a stock 718 in a straight line. On a curve though it would be on rails and the spyder would end up in a ditch 100%

Oh certainly. Cars are dramatically faster when they have like twice the horsepower. An RS is only like 25% more so they need a lot of space to pull a large gap.
My race car with a 440 HP 3.8 and PDK often countered 991.2's on track and they do walk away a bit but it's not a destruction.
That car had a 7.8 100-200 FWIW. 991.2 GT3 (RS or not) do low 7s so not even a full second off.
