#616
Took delivery 9 days after the ships arrival back in September for my MY20 992 C2S. 7/20/20 build.

From my SA in NJ-CARB
"You are not alone in your frustration I have been getting calls all day but won’t have a definite answer on anything until the end of the day. I am praying that they pass CARB and start shipping them to dealers. We are just as annoyed as you. We have 21 sold sports cars sitting at the port right now and getting very close to our year end statements. I will let you know aas soon as I hear anything either good or bad. I was told I would have a definite answer before the end of day today."

"I wanted to follow up on my prior email. Porsche released this morning to us that CARB will be on Monday."
Hoo-ray if it comes to pass

Your SA is your lifeline. Ask him for the Porsche Management System screenshot. It’s pretty standard, suspect most on here get them.
Ask for periodic updates, I stopped bugging my SA as he tracks all his customers daily. Big dates are build completion and Emden departure. SA will give you the ship name and show you how to track.
Here are some screen shots from my progress

I don't believe so. If so, it would be on the Monroney sticker. If it did have a gas guzzler tax, that would suck because I assume Porsche put the Auto Stop/Start (A.S.S.) and cylinder deactivation to AVOID a gas guzzler tax and meet emission requirements.

My take on fuel economy is this, the more I drive the more fuel I burn and that supports the economic recovery, so get out there and drive as soon as you can!

Haven't heard anything for Maryland cars. Hoping someone else in a CARB state can back this up or back up the previous post about Monday being the release day.

Car went into production
This may be irrelevant to this thread but I was at the dealership today. My 2021 Spyder went into product 12/2. It shows projected Emden arrival 1/1/2021. It shows projected to leave Emden to Baltimore by 1/15 . Fingers crossed 🤞
