yes, we do have the same departure date of 12/11 going into Houston. Hoping it would leave earlier. My SA said he has no visibility on status until the ship leaves port.

I believe your SA is correct. But when we get closer to 12/11 I think we can get some idea of what's going on with the shipping at this website: https://www.pwl.de/en Scroll down until you see the section titled Shipping Portal. Under Schedules select US West- and East Coast and Volkswagen Konzernlogistik Export. A schedule for the most recent week--which is now Week 39--will pop out.

God bless,
TT

Unfortunately they haven't updated the schedule and the week 39 (late September) listing is now out of date. In addition, Porsche users other shipping lines as well.

Sorry if I caused confusion. Maybe there is more info somewhere on the Rennlist site. That's the website I was told to use back in late 2018 when my 911 C2 was coming over on the Goodwood and it worked fine then.

God bless,
TT

That PWL site does show a schedule through last week, so it’s not that obsolete... maybe a new update will be posted soon

Maybe, but it hasn't changed since September when I started watching.

Found this in another thread but it gives the same result:

"You can get the schedule yourself.

go here: https://www.pwl.de/en/eportal/shipping-portal

scroll down.

under schedules, pick your schedule. E.g us west and east coast. In the second drop down, select VW export and a pdf will open/download

"

I think I recall that the PWL website gave much more up to date info when I was following my 911 back in late 2018.

The non-CARB states continue to get cars. My 2021 GTS PDK showed up today. It started production on 9/11, exited production on 10/21, left Emden on 10/27 and arrived in Houston on 11/20. It took a little longer than usual to get through production but only sat at Emden for 1 day and got through Houston to the dealer in just 4 days. When I took this picture today there was a black GT4 sitting next to it that just got delivered as well.

Yup, it’s there, on that boat.

Still waiting, since end of June.

Praying you don’t have to sit at the port for over a month like mine is waiting for the CARB certification.

This morning the PWL site has updated to week 46: https://www.pwl.de/en/eportal/shipping-portal For at least the two of us whose cars are leaving Emden for Houston on 12/11, it appears they will be on the Swift Ace...a good name for a swift crossing, we hope.

God bless,
TT
