ive had a Mexico blue GT3, Riviera blue 981s and a Gulf blue macan. All colors are great. That said I’ve had two miami Blue 991 cars. And yes it has some teal to it in certain light but that’s what I LOVE about the color. I think it will be looked at in ten years as the era color non metallic blue for 718 and 991 and be desirable. No one liked riviera on the 993 Turbo when it rolled out. Now look. That said who cares what others think, including me, get the color you like. For me I LOVE MB. This will be my third car in this color.
I saw a MB Macan yesterday - it looked pretty good, I'm happy with my decision to go with this color!
Thank you all for the responses. I am gravitating towards Mexico or Riviera Blue. I've seen Mexico but not positive I've seen Riviera.
Question based on the photos below for those who are very familiar (I know you are Larry but couldn't post a photo in a PM). In the second photo below, is the Mexico on the right really have that much purple in it, or is it more like the first photo. My recollection was it was more like the first photo.
Below is Mexico:
On the left is Riviera and on the right is Mexico:
I'd say the picture is pretty accurate for Mexico and Miami
Any updates on when PTS cars are expected to be built and delivered to dealers? I haven't checked with my dealer about my car yet.
The best thing you can do is reach out to your dealer and ask for your V status. If your car is at least V215 status, you should be able to get a breakdown of the build schedule and you'll know exactly when your car will be built and when you'll get delivery....or at least an expected timeline. Let us know what you find out.
My car is a February allocation -- scheduled to enter production 1/15.
I'm about a week ahead of you in production but because my car is going to Port of San Diego, I end up being a week behind you as far as arriving at port. I then also have the delay of going to PECLA for delivery so you'll be way ahead of me. These next few months will be soooooo loooonnnnnggggggg!
