The 997.1 was not viper green, it was “green” often called “RS Green,” but now on the PTS list as just “green.”
There are some pictures on RL comparing viper, green, signal green (both formulations) and pure green which are all similar but have noticeable differences. Python seems to be in that family to my eyes, but I won’t know until I see it in person.
I believe we are both wrong. 997.1 RS was Signal Green. Either way they are all extremely close in color.

I agree with this...saw it in person and reminded me of the 997s....it's very close to all those greens.
Beautful, and that picture makes me extra happy that I ordered the Aurum wheels.
My car is now sitting at the Port of Benicia awaiting the EPA block to be lifted, so hopefully I'll have some GT4 pics soon to add!

The wait is almost over, hope they get release soon.......your car is going to look epic with Aurum wheels. I debated between Aurum and black over and over......tough decision. Sticked to Black to be a "little" conservative on a Green Porsche.
Mine enter production next week and will probably miss the early November boat so looking at delivery right before Christmas (doubtful) or early Jan 2021.

They have the paint code and in different type of formats...touch up paint, touch up pen, spray and regular paint for paint guns.
Great find! That video really shows how much the camera itself affects the color of the car. The beginning has it all washed out, but then after he opens the door and closes it, the color suddenly changes to what I think it really is.
I've been working on a database for the 2021 GT4s that I've posted in another thread.
It started out by me wanting to see how many people are getting Python Green cars in the US, and turned into more. So far, of the 220 cars I've entered, 13 of them are Python Green. I'm sure I'll continue to find more, as there are at least 367 cars in VIN Analytics so far. Interestingly, so far, the "rarest" colors are Guards Red and Racing Yellow, but it's pretty close.
In any case, now that the EPA hold has been lifted, my car is just waiting on the CARB hold to get lifted, which will hopefully be at the beginning of the week. With a little luck, hopefully our car will be up here in Washington by the end of next week in time for the 11/20 on sale date. I'll obviously be adding lots of pics once I have them!
