History has to start somewhere. It’s not like the Big Bang birthed a rock face with the list of PTS colors on it.

Most of what's being said so far is subjective (choose the color you like)......except saying PG or LG aren't that special compared to a PTS color... Come on! It's just paint in a color that you like.....unless you really like to brag that you paid another $13k for a different color that a 70s Porsche used at the IROC series.
Color is a very personal choice, I'm just happy that Porsche decided to add PG when they canceled Lizard Green for all models, thus saving me the extra pain and $$$ of ordering a PTS Green.

Computer screens, phone screens, tablet screens, they all make greens look different. At least mine do. Im still waiting to see a viper Porsche color chip next to a python color chip. I think the python will look good.

ha! I must confess... I actually like Python a lot because it looks like it would have been right at home on one of the IROC cars. It’s just an honest straightforward green, something that would be on a car when paint was paint. But of course as said, respect everyone’s right to want what they want, if a more complex green is someone’s thing then ok too.

Agreed.....I even like it (at least on photos) more than Lizard. My dealer received a 992 Turbo S in PG so need to get over there and see it in the flesh, not the color sample.

After giving this some more thought, I agree. PG is nothing special and probably no one should order it.

Python looks REALLY REALLY good to me in low light. Not sure I love it as much in direct sun but every pic i see in subdued lighting I love it.

IMO the Aurum wheels look better with Python than Lizard.

Just went down to the dealer to take a look at a 992 Turbo S in PG with Lizard Green stitching and seatbelts. Any doubts I had are gone...the combo looks really good, gorgeous!. Here are a few pics but in person it looks awesome.
Now, compared PG to Viper Green, Viper is a bit more intense, more green. Make no mistake, this is a proper green but it's just a tiny little bit softer, if that's the term, than Viper. Loved the color and looks good with black accents.
The Lizard does looks lighter on the photos.....the stitching is great and as I suspected it comes a bit darker on fabric. Also, PG is more intense from what I see on the photos.
Sorry for the crappy shots...not my forte!

Just looking at the pics now on my PC....this is a hard color to photograph!
At least what I see on my screen the color in person is more green......
Anyway, I'm not the best by a long shot taking pics!

I've heard PG described as more pastel like. Still a bright green but a little muted and softer in the hue whereas Viper Green is just bright and green. Wondering if PG as it relates to VG is the same as how Riviera Blue is softer than Mexico Blue?

I do like the combo on the Turbo. I think the greens complement each other nicely. If I didn't have the PG to compare the LG seatbelts to, I would say the LG looks like a nice green but with your seatbelt and door jam/area comparison, you can see that LG is a little more yellow or a lighter green, at least to me.

Seeing this combo, I wish someone would have ordered Miami Blue or one of the other bright blue colors like Riviera Blue, Mexico Blue, or Voodoo Blue with Speed Blue interior stitching to see how that combo would look like.
