They disappeared from mine long ago. You could do a spay with BiltHamber AutoFoam. Slightly alkaline and there are some YouTube videos showing its safe on a number of surfaces and protectants.

I tried spraying with Simple green concentrate and soaking/rinsing but it did nothing.

@West Coast ..I drive the car all 4 seasons and in the winter when temps inch above freezing, I put on my diving dry suit (snowmobile suit basically), and give her a wash. Wife told me she wanted to have me committed.

Burning Brakes
I am 6ft2 and even standing closely I can still clearly and easily see that area. This isn't a detailing matter, it's a matter of something that's blatantly not acceptable from a QA perspective from the factory. It's like a beauty queen with a face tattoo, is anyone into that scene?
