Spyder/GT4 Radiator streaks / white stains
My Spyder came with this "surprise gift" and seems that I'm not the only one, so I'm curious to know if you have it as well or not.
- If you do, then would be interesting to know where your dealer is located and what reason/solution* they are giving you. (*that is if you don't want stripes on your radiator)
- My dealer is in Chile (but from what I understand Miami act as distribution center), my Spyder is Crayon and arrived in April.

If it wasn't a structural issue, I wouldn't care myself. Hardly even noticeable if you didn't get down there and look for it.

They will probably get down there with a radiator comb and straighten them out.
You shouldn't have to do it.

As mentioned in another thread I've seen similar lines of stuff on my radiator. It looks like some kind of dried... stuff on top of the radiator.
I'll try to get a picture to add to this sometime tomorrow.
For reference I have a GT4 in the US

That don’t look right.
I thought the fins are bent but zooming in it just looks like discoloration of some sort.
That’s not going to be befitting of the rest of the visual perfection this car exudes.
This has to be some sort of quality issue.

Even less, because I wouldn't have even noticed it in the pics unless to OP pointed it out and took a close up. I'd be curious as to what it is and if it can be removed, but unless it was corrosion impacting the radiator or some other potential functional issue, I probably wouldn't care much. Similar to how I don't worry about how clean or rock free the underside of my car is, as I rarely see it. I imagine a dealer can figure out what's going on in about five minutes of looking at it.

My dealer doesn't have a clue what it is, despite the fact that the 4 Spyder plus 1 gt4 they delivered got them... They should offer dismount the fender and cleaning in the next service if you asked, but is not urgent.. If I have to guess I would say that is wax residues after the cleaning they may done (perhaps coming I side from the hood vent)

Looks like the fins are bent, something contacted it. I'd ask for a no charge replacement if you took delivery that way.

For reference here is the GT4/Spyder radiator on my previous 981, they do require cleaning and this is the before with about 12 months of driving, note even before cleaning there were no streaks, after a little TLC this is what I expect to see, especially on a new 718 GT4/Spyder!
Before cleaning
As good as new with a lot of careful cleaning and a little touch up!

Wonder if it's grease or wax that can be removed with proper detailing? They should remove the front bumper and inspect what it is and how to remove it; I definitely wouldn't take delivery of the vehicle if I saw that.
If it is some sort of grease, even though it only covers 10-20%, it would technically affect the cooling efficacy of the radiator (probably only a small amount) as it would likely act as an insulator.

Anyone else in the world exhibiting signs of this? Since we don't have a large North American pool of cars to look at.
The streaks were present on a brand new 8 mile car. I can't imagine they developed within 8 miles.
Hopefully its some type of excess grease/lube from manufacturing. Cant imagine having build up like
this on a brand new car. Or it could be a bad batch of radiators already showing pinhole leaks.
Its coming from the top down. As I mentioned before I saw white residue drip marks from the streaks
on the front spoiler. Sorry I should have taken photos. Next time I'm at the dealer I will.
Quick internet search and I found a brand new car in Europe (Germany) with the white streaks. This is looking to be more common than we think.
