The more people that chime in on this observation the better likelihood of getting it addressed.

I am happy to escalate from dealer to PCNA on our behalf to find out what the cause is.

If you have the ability to get this situation heard that would be helpful... cheers!

This situation is heard. I pointed this thread to PCNA when I took delivery at PEC ATL in June. The pics in the bulletin are of my car. I was their first GT4 delivery. I haven’t heard any updates one way or another as to a resolution but just know, they are monitoring this thread.

Well, in that case, I'll add that I took delivery of a Spyder last week, and also had the stripes present.

I have them also, but seriously who cares? I cannot see them unless I get on my knees and bend down and shine a flashlight on the radiator, and the car drives just fine. It's not a museum piece, it's meant to be driven hard, and driven on the track. It is a minor cosmetic issue. I am sure Porsche will do nothing about it, and by bringing it up all you will do is annoy your SA and dealer. Certainly if the radiator is functionally defective that is a much more serious issue, but I have not heard of this yet.

Interesting, on one hand you don't care and think other should do the same but on the other you want to be notified if there is a problem... notifying the dealer and your SA is part of the process.

From the lead tech at PEC ATL, he told me it was cosmetic and didn’t affect the function. Of course there’s the element of telling me what I want to hear on my brand new car. That having been said, I didn’t get the sense anyone was bsing me while I was there and I do think they do care and want to find a resolution if there is one. I’m sure there’s a level of “we want the problem to go away” so that people stop complaining and costing Porsche money more than needing a fix since it doesn’t impact functionality.

Looks like the radiator fins are bent just a bit.
Probably due to the way they are stacked, shipped, etc.
Get a radiator fin comb if they bother you that much.
