I kept wavering between Shark and Gentian and after washing my Carmon and loving the deep, rich Metallic color I came back to Gentian. It will be a long 6 months, but it will be well worth it. It looks like most of the recent pics are Satin Platinum and Aurum wheels (I'm going GTS vs GT4), does anyone have the standard silver and like the look? The Platinum pops just a bit more to my eye and complements the blue. I have a good friend with a Carmon Red and Gold wheels and would hate to step on his toes with similar colored wheels.

Shark is nice, but too many other manufacturers currently offering a similar colour (VW, Audi, BMW, Ford, Toyota, etc.) so to me a little less special. Haven't seen too many colours that look like Gentian...plus you get so much variation depending on lighting conditions, less so on non-metallic colour like Shark...but some may prefer that. YMMV.
oh...and here's a little **nudge** to help you decide...

I love it! I had emailed my SA last week and told him to change me back to Gentian. I love the different hues the color takes on. I no longer have these wheels, but after color correction the Carmon just looks incredible. I'd want to keep this chameleon aspect and the GB is one of the few colors. I agree the Miami and Shark are a bit overplayed lately. My 2022 cannot come soon enough!
Here's my GB with silver rims. I like it as it provides a contrast to the blue and looks good with the Red calipers, IMO.
Thanks for posting the silver. They look great too. I do like the brighter color of those, the platinum change so much in the light. I'm glad to see it's a semi matte color.
Hello from Germany. I’m new to the GT4 space and wanted to share some impressions of my gentian blue spec.
Did any of you gentian blue owners apply a XPEL stealth (gives satin looks) to his gentian blue car? If yes please share some images as I wonder how it will look like.

I think that Gentian Blue would look awesome with a stealth wrap, you should just do it! Congrats on a beautiful car too!
Beautiful day on the West Coast today. Who recognizes the castle? The other shot is looking over the Straights to the Olympic Mountains
Awww come on, British on the plate is a dead give away!
You are on the 'British Isles in Scotland' so in the first picture isn't that Balmoral Castle, was the Queen there? The second picture is surely Loch Ness... I see ripples in the water, did you see Nessie?
The Gentian Blue looks very Regal today, reminds me of Crown Royal, love that colour.
Funny story but when we first started shopping for the GT4 and Spyder, I looked at the colors and I guess I looked too quickly because I thought I saw the color as GEN - it - tal. I still joke about it with the wifey. She doesn't find the 5 year old humor too funny but she does giggle every now and then.
When I'm being serious, I pronounce it as GEN tee ann Blue but if you look it up, I guess you're supposed to pronounce it as JEN shun. Someone a while back took a picture of their car with a gentian flower. Didn't know at the time that the color was named after flowers. It was a pretty cool picture.
