Very nice always loved the way dark blue looks in the shade, very shiny too!

Is GB any better than black (metallic or not) in hiding dust or pollen? Or does it show immediately like it does with black? Seeing how dark GB is on these pics, I’m guessing there’s not a big diff between the two.

I would counter that actually. I think it appears to stay cleaner longer. This is about my 3rd or 4th dark blue vehicle after having gray and black. I feel it looks cleaner much longer, and when dust pollen gets on it, I don't feel like I need to wash it right away like a black car. I have even taken a few pictures where there was a coupe weeks of dust, with little rain dusting, and the vehicles still look clean until you get right up close. Maybe I'm the minority, but compared to black, it is much better.

Was this referring to GB or dark blue in general?

Gentian Blue. I also had a Tanzanite Blue X7 M50i that appeared very close to Gentian. My comments echo both of those colors.

Nice presentation of GB from different light angles, with silver wheels to boot...

I believe that I would find this to be true as well for cleaning, but do agree the colour is striking!

Still have the third Dark Blue Metallic Porsche we have owned (Macan) pollen, dust and rain spots show up immediately on this colour, I don't see how Gentian could be much different... I keep my cars pristine, to me any dark colour is a lot of work, my truck is slate grey metallic, talk about a hobby!

I decided to take a break with the Spyder this time...

I know this is not Gentian Blue, but I saw this yesterday and it made me think of how cool a nice dark blue color is on a mid-engine Porsche—this is probably Dark Blue Metallic. I'm also aware that any color really looks good on this car.
