Sitting in car and just tried it. I don’t have phone compartment but CarPlay only worked with usb port in center console. Glove box seems to be only power.

Interesting because AA works with both the glove box and center console.

no. All I ever do is tap Home and I see CarPlay icon. Usually takes a few moments. I usually plug into center console. Tried in glove box and it didn’t work, but phone was charging. 🤷‍♂️

Opening Apple CarPlay in PCM; per the OM "iPhone is connected to the the USB port (type A) in the center console."

But curious, does it work in the glove box?

Perhaps you answered the use question for ipod at some point, I wonder if this can be changed to work with CP by 'forgetting the phone' and choosing the correct response to the question.

2020 GT4, no CarPlay listed as an option. No USB in center console. It seems no CarPlay then?

CarPlay was an option until MY23; so if it’s not on your sticker it’s not there

Default Smartphone compartment

Has anyone been able to remove this compartment and just have the larger compartment. I got my spyder used and it had this. As everyone has said it’s useless.
thanks!
