The whole fender will need a good quality, thick PPF. I does come with a little bit of PPF on the curved part but that wont be enough.
Its a car.........it doesn't matter. They're for driving not for polishing.

If you drive them hard they will get damaged - no amount of PPF will stop that. The damage is irrelevant and trivial.

I agree with your first sentence, but I also like my cars shiny and polish and accept the wear and tear from continued use no matter where or the car I'm driving....and trust me I do use my cars, that be track or street.
If I can minimize or extend the life of a part I will try to go that route. Track will accelerate that wear & tear compared to using just on the street, why I always PPF my cars.

Its actually better to use multiple layers of colour matched gaffer tape there - as the tires become stickier e.g. 4S --> CUP2 --> CUP2R --> they hold the stones longer and throw them higher. The sides, even the thick PPF gets punched. Rally mud flaps work well.

The owner's manual discusses driving the car AND polishing the car.

Has someone found a digital (PDF) copy of the GT4RS owner’s manual?

No, both the GT4 and GT4 RS are 30mm lower than base Cayman with stock suspension.

Saw the engine marriage completed on one, along with a C2S, 911 Turbo and a Boxster of some sort. There were other 4RS going down the line. So they are being actively produced.

To echo what ST said, just finished my euro delivery in Zuffenhausen as well. I was scratching my head the entire day, thinking to myself hmmm something seems off considering how rare this car is supposed to be, granted my sample size was just one day

The most common car I saw on the production lines for 718/911, and most common car I saw parked on campus either in Werk1 or around the various factory buildings was.... GT4RS... saw no less than 8 different specs lying around waiting for delivery and a handful on the production line

It's a hell of a looker, only grabbed a couple pics where allowed..

This could be really good news for overall production volume and availability next year for the RS (and standard models). Good luck gents! https://www.autoblog.com/2022/06/27/...n-high-demand/

^^ Well if it makes you feel any better I did search first and made sure there were not any dedicated posts on the first page already. But I knew the risk and the scrutiny I was subjecting myself to... I have my big boys pants on today so I'll be fine... In any case, I will stand by my good luck wishes!
