Having so much fun with my GT4 @usctrojanGT3 , I kinda hope so. Need time to get the garage sorted.

Yeah, I don't mind it being released later so that the chip shortage gets squared away and ADMs aren't as dumb as they are for the 992 GT3.

I know for a fact it will have 500PS :-) And it will rev until 9000rpm

That sounds like the GT3 engine. I doubt they will be able to extract that kind of performance with the existing engine in the GT4/Spyder line up. Kind of doubt they would put such a powerful engine on the GT4 RS too, but I guess we will see soon.

Anyone who thinks a GT3 engine is going anywhere near a Cayman has no understanding of how Porsche engineers and manages their product stack. The chances of it out performing a GT3 are approximately zero.

Ok Arjande, maybe you're right. What's the genre of cleaning lady who told you... let's put a dealer as basically credibility 0, all the way to AP as credibility 10. What level do you feel your source is that makes you say this?

Not only that, but Porsche has said that the reason that they didn't put the GT3 motor in the GT4 to begin with was because it did not respond well to being de-tuned. And if one thinks they are going to give any 718 the same HP as a GT3, you are in La La Land.

My guess is it will have a GT4 engine with an ~8400RPM redline. Just look at the steps from the GTS to the GT4, extrapolate one data point further from there.

Maybe 440HP, definitely not more than 450.
