I had that feeling too when I bought my 930 from a different P dealer here and when I tried to buy a 993 from the same dealer diff rep. Like a favour is being done for you.

Got an update from my SA today and was told that I'm pretty much on deck for the next batch of allocations and to get my Porsche code build ready to go. I'm not in an hurry so I'll just wait with my original deposit. I wanted to give this SA a sale for a while and he's been a champ in letting me take cars out and just chat for fun during his idle hours.

My dealer was all out of allocations when they announced the PDK GT4 and I posted online looking for a Sept 2020 allocation and 3 folks were kind enough to PM me leads and I put my built in last week and have V200 status. Hopefully you'll have at least those 2 other folks PM you with leads. I'm amazed that some dealers are still trying to get over MSRP.

IMHO it is much better to have a strong and friendly relationship with your SA, easier to talk to and if there is a problem or issue to discuss that should be more approachable as well.

The dealer who sold me my '19 CGTS just offered me an MSRP allocation on a PDK GT4. I took it, hoping I can lock in this Miami Blue config: http://www.porsche-code.com/PM6JH143

I see no reason why not unless your build date is post-December when it is rumored that MB will be withdrawn and replaced.

congrats!

I recently put down a deposit for 2021 allocation for GT4 with Northtown Porsche Buffalo. Northtown Porsche pricing is MSRP and Russ is the guy to contact. I am local and this will be my third Porsche from them and they are great people to deal with.

Has anyone else been chastised for endorsing an upstanding dealer or salesperson?

I sure hope not, good dealers and sales people should be given props in my opinion.
