Looks like a very nice spec!!! Congratulations!!!

Seems like production schedules were moving around a bit. My Spyder was suppose to lock in January but it moved up to December 2nd.

Originally supposed to arrive in April, now estimated date is March 11th with production finished in Jan.

update: taken by a forum member

One of the dealers I wait listed at has an available GT4 allocation, car will be built in February and will arrive in April. $20k ADM.

PM me for contact info. I am not a broker and already got an allocation elsewhere 1 month ago.

In the Houston area as well. Down in Clear Lake.

what do you mean by rolling through? Is that someone else back off from their custom order?

Surprised to see a few GT4's show up on finder with no ADM, but only 1 in manual.

Anyone got any tips around the Colorado area for allocations? I feel like the local dealers are definitely in "no chance" mode, sigh.

Did you call on those Porsche Finder GT4s available at MSRP?

Many of those cars are auto populated and not available and/or at MSRP.

Signal Yellow is awesome on the Spyder. Apparently Bob Moore agrees with their asking of $158,000. That's definitely one of the higher markups I've seen

These cars are difficult enough to acquire. If you are restricting your search to an area near you, you are just adding more restrictions.

Also like Shaggy said, some dealers have those listings that auto populate into the for sale sites. They are most likely inbound cars that are already sold to clients.

Over the past 4 months I have called over 30 dealerships, been on several waitlists, and worked with a broker. It was like catching lightning in a bottle when I found a Boxster GTS 4.0 at MSRP. I can't imagine finding a GT4 at MSRP right now.

Chris at Brian Harris Porsche in Baton Rouge said they don't have anybody on their Spyder waiting list, can't say for GT4 but it's a small dealer in a relatively unpopulated area so might be worth a shot. Bought a Boxster S from them while I wait for my Spyder and they were awesome to work with.

I didn't, and you're probably correct!

There is a GT4 on the lot at Porsche of the Village in Cincinnati. I was told that it’s was ordered ‘in case one of their VIP customers wanted it.’ It’s been there for a few weeks.

I’ve asked them for a GTS allocation, so it’s not for me. It might be worth a phone call to see if it is actually available.

Just received an allocation for a 2022 Spyder. This was a surprise to my dealer as they put it at 30-40% of me actually receiving an allocation. Got put on the waiting list about a month ago and didn't expect to hear anything till the spring. Interesting to hear all the conjecture about 2023 models and what allocations will be out there in the future.

~120 days estimated build (of course this is early) and 40 days to lock changes.
