Ha - I've called people out before that I know in real life that even list cars they don't have in their signatures.... one in particular states his 991.1 has a powerkit/X51 but opted to not go with a 3rd radiator since he was totally busted with his pictures clearly showing no 3rd radiator. haha. Yup.

I'd argue few people are hating or saying it's a bad car, just that they either don't see a reason to trade up (if you'd consider it trading up) or they were underwhelmed given the huge amount of hype. Some see it as a big jump in price for very little additional value. Nothing wrong with that.

I'll be keeping my 981. Lighter, less tire, and I suspect will be rarer.
Separately, I wonder why the 718 Clubsport wing didn't make it to the GT4 road car...

It’s not perfect, the rear still isn’t great. However, I still like it as a total package. Enough that wife and I will buy one and do ED.
Rennlist is full of Looky Lou’s and window shoppers who criticize. ‘I would buy this if it had yellow stitching instead of red’. Meanwhile they haven’t bought a car in ages. I’m an enthusiast, but I want to be enthusiastic from behind the wheel even if the car isn’t perfect. Nothing in life is perfect.

0Q, satin aluminum wheels, PCCB + black caliper, buckets, LED/PDLS, delete model designation, blacked out PORSCHE lettering, extended leather with chalk stitch and chalk belts. I think this is it!

Jazzed for all of those who are ordering and have been waiting and waiting for this car. Extra sweet for those that missed out on the opportunity to spec a 981 to their exact liking and have been on the sideline until the opportunity presented itself again.
I'm struck by how little the configurator for the 982 has changed since the 981. It looks and feels exactly the same and has so many of the same options with a few twists here and there. Déjà vu!
Spring will be here before you know it! Excited to see everyone's builds and welcome a whole new group of folks into Spyder Nation.
