How much to offer on exec demo boxster GTS
2018 Boxster GTS : 9,500 miles exec demo, msrp about 101 K, waranty has not started, looks very clean but will ask for rear tire replacement
Dealer is asking 85 K which it thought is too much . Warranty will start after purchase

3 months ago I was offered 80k for a 95k 2018 Cayman GTS which was NOT a demo and happenned to be in a color combo I love (dark blue ext, white interior).
I passed on it as I was hoping to get it for 20k off. The dealer still has that car btw, so its clearly not selling for whatever reason
Given its 3 months later, and this one has 9500 miles, I'd expect a much biger discount. Ask for 25k off.
You should confirm the warranty -- I've seen a many Porsches in the past where even if you were the first title'd owner, the warranty had started at the point where it was used by the dealer as a demo car.

Thx and i will verify warranty has not started , for tax purposes it is a in my interest to trade in my 9114s cab but i will negotiate knowing that next year there may be no GTS or a GTS with 6 cylinder
what is a PECLA car, they told me the Sales manager used the car

Just look at the window sticker, it will have the ship to address for the dealer that ordered the car.

15% off sticker for a 2 year old, 10K mile car is not a good deal, unless it were a GT2 or GT3. Personally I would never buy a demo, regardless of the discount. About 15 years ago, one of my sons worked summers as a lot boy at a local Porsche dealer. He told me that although most of the people who took Porsches on test drives, treated the car as if it were their own, there were many who abused the cars. As soon as they got the car off the lot, they would take a cold engine to red line, and after a couple months as a demo, tires were showing premature wear because of the abuse. There's virtually a 100% certainty that a demo was not broken-in according to Porsche's recommendations. Although many people ignore the RPM restrictions during break-in, I don't know of anyone who recommends taking a cold engine to or near red line.

They confirmed it was a Porsche exec car, Sold to pal 2 one Porsche drive, Atlanta , GA, ;;; ship to manheim Atlanta , buffington drive, college park, GA. I am not sure what that ship to address is .
Their best offer is 20 percent off Msrp on their used 2018 car with 9k miles and a trade in value on mine that is close to what I have been offered from other Porsche dealers on my car
i realized that whichever dealer gives me a higher number on my trade in , they hold tight on their cars selling price , lol
