This one came with Euro Heat and now that the top is stretched back in place and securly fastened, wifey can ride along with toasty toes and not get a single hair out of place.

New to me ‘59 356 Outlawish Coupe. Friend of mine suddenly passed away and was fortunate enough to be offered to buy his treasured 356 Coupe. Has a 2.1L 150hp Willhoit built motor (comes with numbers matching motor on the side) and some other nice upgrades. Only 1 repaint and original seats (has upgraded gt seats in now) recovered all back in 1974. Besides that a virtually unrestored car and everything that was upgraded comes with the original parts. Won’t be a garage queen as I plan on driving this car when I can and want to.

Really nice car, are you going to keep in MA or Carmel? We have a 356 Monterey Bay group, meets for breakfast 2nd Saturday at El Torito 600 Cannery Row, Monterey. 8:30am.

Well, they ARE of MY 356...
First, to be perfectly clear, I'm not "Hawking" this, nor is it for sale... I just thought that perhaps a few of you guys on here that suffer from "The Affliction" might appreciate, get a smile from, seeing this!
It's a N.O.S Orvis CFO III Anniversary model, number 356 / 500 – never even spooled, never mind fished! I was fortunate to be able to purchase this from a gentleman who owned and either sold or closed his Orvis shop.
I KNOW that you guys, at least those suffering from The Affliction, will recognize it as truly One-of-One! It's from the 2nd run (Which I believe was '78 - '79) and was complemented by a similar run with a gold anodized finish. I don’t know where the gold one is but I DO know where the silver one is!
This is the first reel I’ve bought that I’m not planning on fishing, and I fish a lot of stuff that other people collect but I just think, for the P-Car community in particular, that it’s too special…
Rest assured that if I ever decide to sell it I will present it to the 356 community, in particular rennlist, first!
Sadly, Orvis never did a run into the 900’s to cover us Beer-Budget 944S2 guys, or even the more well-heeled 911 guys… I guess you 356ers are special!
I hope you’re all Top-Down/Windows-Down & REVS-UP! And, I hope The Afflicted got a smile from this!

Came across these photos of my car with the original owner. The first when he picked it up in 1959 and the second when he sold it in 1990.
