I'd love to find out where #56724 my old 1956 356A Sunroof coupe wound up - I had to sell it about eight years ago to finance the restoration of my 356A Carrera. I sold it to Pete Hussey and he probably sent it to Europe.
It was originally Aquamarine Blue Metallic with a grey interior and had the Vee-shaped sunroof and beehive tail lights. It was a really good car with a little rust in the door bottoms but otherwise in great shape.
It still had the original split case gearbox but the engine had been replaced sometime before I bought it in 1984.
1967, just back from VN, so spent the large sum of $1400 to buy my first Porsche, a sweet little 56 that the PO installed twin grills to make it look more modern.
Second was a 1965 which I sold to the Trinkles...........regretted that sale the minute I saw them drive away!
should be at the top now.
