Thank you Thank you Thank you!!!! You guys are great. I'm slowly building a Parade photo file from what is being sent to me via Rennlist. Cool.....

I wish we could have spent more time talking to you guys too, but it wasn't a great day for the Trinkle's if you know what I mean. It's been over a week and I still can't believe what happened actually happened. Oh well you know what they say S$#! happens. So goes life.
Maybe next time the four of us can chat more and watch the others go insane.

Thanks again,
JoAnne

Glad we could get you a few photo's of Max (since you lost the pictures on your camera). Karin took a ton of photo's on Sunday. I will let you know when we get them posted. Lot's of nice 356 shots. Also, if you want a higher resolution copy of any of these just let me know ... had to compress them to post on the forum.

And yes, hopefully in the not to distant future we can spend some more time chatting and watching those that seem to have a passion for spending hours making their car spotless .... we really enjoy seeing cars prepared to that level, however we enjoy driving them way to much to make ours look like that .... it's great that there are all kinds of differnet people in this world.

Max in the early morning. Before dust, pollen, the competition, and even the judges.

JoAnne & Robert,
I sent the cd with all my parade pics via UPS today.

Default Anotehr gratuitous shot

My boxster mutated from grey to yellow ;-) OK so it's a loaner - while the dealer rectifies a delivery mishap !!!

Still the 356 looks like it's smiling at it, and vice versa !

A small delivery ding in the trunk that was not spotted when they washed it and prepped it. No biggie, I get to drive the same car in yellow with a "no limits" engine ! ;-)

Bet you're sad about Max, I am !!! I am sad I did not know it was for sale and could not have afforded to buy him ;-)

Max really never went Up for Sale. Someone just wanted him bad, that's all. Actually at the Parade THREE people wanted him really bad. Ya know, Money talks.......

One of the cars in the Competition Class at the Dana Point Concours last weekend.

The car wasn't spotless, but it was just finished before the show. I really liked it. It even had 993 headlights!!!

Here's a couple of green cars from Dana Point:

This is Fjord Green, my favorite color

This was different. If you look close. A James Dean mini me is sitting in the
from seat.

Mother Superior,

I do not understand your attraction to Fjord green ;-) My own 356 is fjord green and I'd trade it for any other color (except red or yellow) in a hearbeat

True, you picture look good, because it's overcast. The rest of the time, fjord green looks like this :

Not quite as attractive ;--) I would have traded my Fjord car for Max, you know !!

First time I ever saw Fjord Green was on a Speedster at the San Diego Parade. It was beautiful and won People's Choice. Ever since then we've both wanted a fjord green Speedster. It looked really good on the coupe in Dana Point too. It look great in the sun too. Maybe because it was fresh paint???

Here's a picture of Speedster with a nice Speedster at European Collectables in Costa Mesa. Black is so very hard to take care of. This Speedster's paint needed a little loving and then it would look super:

I wish Alan were here to post some of his pics. He took a bunch of great ones!!!

Here are my other three favorites form the show.

The navy blue 356 was just flawless and to DIE for.
