Since it's too windy to go out and play today, I took this pic of them sleeping side by side in the garage. Notice the two different colors of Ivory really show up in this shot:

Jeez how terrible...what in the world are the odds of that trailer getting stuck there with those cars all on it??? You'd think that they could have sacrificed the grill of another tractor-trailer to save the stuff on the transporter!

Remember? We were there and only left a little while before the crash happened. Robert was sitting in the Black Speedster an hour or two before the crash. That black Speedster was perfect. it was EC's owners personal car and he spared no expense when restoring it. I don't know if I remember all the facts so it would be pbest for Robert to tell you more about it, IF he can stand looking at the pictures again. I think if you do a search you will find a thread about it some where here on the 356 board.

BTW: That's me in the Red skirt and white top in the picture.....

Joanne,
I wish I owned a 356, but I don't. Hopefully someday I will be able to afford a nice 356 Cab. I just got married this past summer in my friends 1965 356 SC Cab and had a blast with it! Best wishes - Jay

Parade

Amish Country Pa.

My son turned 9 today and he wanted a ride in the roadster for his birthday. It was 46 degrees................he said that was warm enough to put the top down. If felt like my birthday today too!

Here is a pic of my pit crew taken at the parade. They think they are famous now since they were in Pano.

Over 11k hits on this thread....good work all esp Joanne!
