991.2 GTS: Picture-Perfect Porsches

Rennlisters love the 991.2 GTS, and they’re more than happy to show off these gems of the 911 lineup!

Among the many fantastic variants of the 911, the 991.2 GTS is among our favorites. The GTS line strikes a fine balance between the powerful Turbo and race-bred GT3, all at a very good value. You also get a very nice bump in performance over the base Carrera and Carrera S, yet at a nominal price jump. And the 991.2 GTS is priced considerably lower than the Turbo, making it the perfect middle ground between “normal” and “abnormal.”

Many consider the 991.2 GTS the best value of the 911 lineup for good reason. You get all the good stuff that’s optional on the base Carrera S, from the 450 hp/405 lb-ft of torque Powerkit upgrade to the PASM sport suspension and Sport Chrono. Add it all up, and you get all of those goodies at a price lower than spec’ing out an S. Throw in a manual gearbox and optional rear-wheel steering, and you’ve got a real winner on your hands.

So it should come as no surprise that Rennlisters love the 991.2 GTS. Plus, they’re more than happy to show off these gems of the 911 lineup in this fantastic thread.

PorscheFrank‘s silver GTS isn’t too shabby, either.

BlazinPond is a little ahead of most of us, with 500 miles already on the odometer.

Boulder Mike gives another member a preview of his spec with his gorgeous GT Silver painted wheels.

But we’re also digging the black wheels and Sapphire blue combo on Ticket Target‘s super fine ride.

And 9ELOVIN‘s GTS has some tasteful Sapphire Blue rings added to his wheels.

For those who dare to be a little different, there’s RINGMEISTER27 and his Ultraviolet ride.

Chewylewis opted for a slightly more subdued Fashion Grey.

And is there anything better than seeing a 991.2 GTS where it belongs, at the track? At least, mdrums seems to think not.
