Clean 993 Turbo examples are reaching new heights these days. But this unique ‘Special Wishes’ example surpasses them all!

These days, everybody loves to bat around the term “rare” as if it’s some sort of common thing, which, obviously, is the very definition of an oxymoron. And who decides if something is rare, anyway? There aren’t any defined numbers or other parameters. But no matter what constitutes “rare” in your opinion, most would agree that a car with a production number of two most certainly qualifies. And that’s exactly what makes this 1997 Porsche 993 “Special Wishes” Turbo a pretty darn rare car. But then again, anything built by the Special Wishes team, or Porsche Exclusive Manufakur, if you will, is something unique — literally, because Porsche builds these cars to owner specifications.

This beautiful, unique Porsche is 100% factory original and owned by Atlantis Motor Group, which, as dealers of rare exotics, classics, and sports cars, knows a thing or two about exclusive, high-profile vehicles. But, although Atlantis has a spectacular inventory, this particular 993 Turbo is so exclusive that it’s off the table as far as sales goes.

With only 14,000 miles on the odometer and interesting options, this car is excellent in its own right. Heck, the X50 package alone makes the car highly desirable. That package, of course, includes the Turbo S engine management system, exhaust, oil cooler, badges, and yellow brake calipers.

This special 993 Turbo was also fitted with goodies like sport seats with color-coded hard backs, an RSR/GT2 splitter, and chrome exhaust pipes. It’s a nice representation of the venerable 993 Turbo to begin with. Throw in the uniqueness of its Special Wishes lineage, and you’ve got one heck of a desirable car.
