Forza Motorsport 6 Porsche Expansion Adds 21 Legendary Rides

Apparently there’s a whole lot of Porsche fanatics out there. And we’re not just talking about the ones who love to drive Stuttgart’s finest, we’re also talking about those who love to virtually drive them.

Video game monster Forza Motorsport 6 has just released a Porsche Expansion with over 20 historic cars now available for virtual hooning. As you can see in the trailer below, “The winningest manufacturer in history returns to the best-selling racing franchise.”

The all-Xbox One in-game footage looks stunningly lifelike. Of course, how often in real life are you going to see so many legendary Porsches in one place? We’re talking the 1957 Porsche 356A Speedster, the 1960 Porsche 718 RS 60, the 2004 Porsche 911 GT3, the 2015 Porsche #19 Porsche Team 919 Hybrid, the 2008 Porsche #7 Penske Racing RS Spyder Evo, the 2011 Porsche #45 Flying Lizard 911 GT3 RSR, and the 1998 Porsche #26 Porsche AG 911 GT1 98 — just to name a few.

Also included in the Expansion is a new campaign called the “Porsche Anthology,” which gives players the chance to experience 60 years worth of Porsche cars and moments. They even hired famed Porsche drivers — like Hurley Haywood, Derek Bell, and Patrick Long — to give their two bits about what makes each car so outstanding.

And as a little cherry on top, there’s also a new track included: Virginia International Raceway.
