They are more interested in the bluetooth connection than the GT connection. Flappy paddles are a natural fit, and quick as we all know, the rear wheel steering does wonders for agility on any platform too, just like it did on the 88 Honda Prelude. Do they have 4wheel steering on cups?

Sure there are veterans that own and prefer 991GT3, and there are those that do not. Its all personal preference.

This thread derailed, but its entertaining.

I have owned all those cars and think the 991RS is the best yet.
I am 60, my jeans are pretty loose though.

Doesn't the question become if they are tighter when driving the 991RS though?

Best reason to get one.

Love how some new guys jump in these with PDK, stability control, track control and think they are Mario Andretti. Inevitably one of these end up kissing the wall.

A car right now would never be the fastest as there would be a car faster tomorrow. A car would never be the best ever as there would be a better car tomorrow.

I have stopped chasing those myth about the fastest or the best car.

As long as I enjoy driving it, that's enough for me. Somebody can get the title of the fastest driver out there. Who cares.

The only worry I have is there may be a car out there that I have not driven because I cannot afford it. Those would be forever dreams.

I have spend last 20 year working on a "car theory"
what to put in collection
what to buy
what to drive
what a load of crap
I just drive and decided any reasonable rational cerebral justification are for the weak. I don't recall debating what color brand r
texture rubber to put in the gun or to have one at all.

I dos d most of my time now driving to eat

Yeah it is the best for sure. No doubt. Still want isn't super high for me. For same reasons as op. Tomorrow brings another fastest and best. Does that make it more interesting and fun to drive? That's debatable.

As many others have said, do what makes you happy. To justify what you drive in comparison to someone else is unnecessary and only shows your insecurities.

We are all grown ups here and know what we like and want. If ****ting on others decision to pick a different model makes you feel better, you got bigger problems.

I have no affiliation but not sure your going to find a better deal on one then this. Might be the safest car purchase you can make assuming you don't crash it. Plus the color combo is rare.

This is the same search I ran for too long. Ended up with a 997.1 with 5k on a SharkWerks 3.9 build. I'm beyond happy.

Good luck with the search. If you get frustrated, pick up a 997.1 for $85/90k and send it to Alex. You will not be disappointed.
