Default WTB: 997 GT3 RS to be Driven!

Alright, do not need thoughts or opinions on another post entitled "WTB" related to a GT3, but I have made up my mind and starting the search.

I am looking for any color combination with roughly 20k miles or so (not firm in mileage per say), with maintenance records.

Options are not of as much importance as the history of the car, even if it has had an engine replaced from cam bolts backing out or something along those lines, so long as its documented.

Prefer a car with minimal body/paint work, but not a deal breaker.

Modifications are fine so long as it is not a built engine, or stripped out interior (however would still consider if all parts are still in possession).

As gathered by now, I am looking for a car that can be driven without the guilt of feeling like it is being ruined by putting miles on it. The idea is to get a decent car, that is not perfect, but at the same time has been well cared for and enjoyed until now.

PM me with any leads, questions, thoughts. I am happy to entertain just about anything as I will be posting my 16' GT4 for sale in the coming days (yes, it has sport buckets w/<1000 miles on it).

My 991 buddy spent a lot of time taking pictures and talking about mine :-)

The 991 does have an incredible presence on the road, but my car howling at full throttle and the clank of each gear I think it pretty fun

Yes, the 997.2RS is just a mechanical dream. All valve train noises, lwfw rattle at idle, that whale under acceleration, the crackle on decel. The steering feel, Spartan interior, the size, I can go on and on.

Most of them 991 guys have no idea what it's like as 991gt3/Rs is there first experience in the world of gt cars thanks to pdk. They do not know what they are missing nor do they care.

I have the means for a 991rs but have no interest in it.

Much appreciated, hoping to turn something up that checks the boxes.

Right...but the .1 rs has more in common with a standard .1 gt3 than it does with the .2 rs despite the common "rs" nomenclature.

Correct, definitely won't argue there. This is as much about the sentiment as it is the car itself.

The .2 is definitely advantage up on the .1

So, yes I would prefer a .2, but at the same time I am not going to limit my search if a nice .1 appears.

And what is the current EPS/Di2 conversion rate for .1RS these days?

I can make sure you have more groups than you know what to do with for a lead on an RS

PM me if there is a decent deal please in all seriousness.

Theres one a lambo newport and ferrari LA. Clean DME. The one at Newport is a high optioned car. If i were in the market, ill buy that one.
I traded my 991GT3 on my .2RS. I feel the RS is a more special car. IMO.
The 997.2RS is more natural in feel and sound.
Good luck on your search.

Post cars you find here, most of us know the cars and can give you advise on it.
