What did you do to your 996TT today?

Scratched my front passenger rim while pulling out of my drive way. I bought some putty and repaired and painted it, but it's not perfect the paint does not match perfectly. It looks las though that area has a bit of brake dust on it. It will hold me off though until I take all 4 rims for painting in the winter.

Had 6 hours of coaching at the track today.
The Coolshirt was great while it was 104°.
Being a test and tune day @ WSIR, there were only 9-10 cars with only about 3-4 cars on track at a time.

Changed out the GT3 Recaros for the factory seats. They are more comfortable (but far less supportive) and the car seems less noisy inside.

Last Friday changed out front sway bar drop links. Annoying squeaking and creaking sounds when turning and going over bumps gone. Old ones were really shot.
This past weekend had tons of fun at the track with the Turbo and instructing at a BMWCCA DE.

The mesh looks great. Where did you get it from? What size are the holes. I would probably install this too as long as it's not on the outside.
I replaced my front pads from Porsche branded jurid pads to textar branded pads. The textars are great, braking performance has improved. There is still no significantly noticeable bite point like in most cars, but it sure stops when you step on it. I hope there is further improvement when I replace the rear pads and rotors in a wheel or two.

The raw material. There is enough material in one sheet to do at least two cars or screw a few attempts up several times.
Template process. My advice, pay attention to the vertical alignment of the end product. Logic would have you use the existing material edges, but once you get them mounted, the alignment of the holes look funky if you are OCD. The example above is using the original edge ... ended up scraping this one. That is how I know there is enough material for more than one attempt.
Cut using a Dremel (tin snips will not be the ideal tool) and ready to paint flat black. Notice how the bottom edge 'creeps' up through the hole pattern on the two outer screens.
Mounted on the back side of the fins with black zip ties
Ready to hang the bumper.
