Nice, first a door jam, now the model car in orange.
Looks like I guessed it just right back in post 1 in January ;-)

The car has clearly been ready for a long, long time and delayed due to the GT3 issues.
Glamour shots on track were taken late 2013.

The toy has not been released yet though some are available at or just before launch. I contacted Mini911 who confirmed this Minichamps model is coming soon.

The best thing this model confirms is that there is NO tacky Porsche sticker on the back - just simple GT3 RS sticker. Perfect.

My GT3 PTS request for tangerine/blutorange was supposedly turned down for fade issues in Jan 2014 after placing the request in June 2013. At the time I thought there was another special edition that was going to get the color rather than the excuse I was given after having been told it was "looking good". So yeah I think the RS was done a year ago.

Dammit that looks fantastic, way better than previous posts. Gotta believe it will look better in person just like the GT3. Only one problem.....now I have no idea what color to get. My infatuation with white has been destroyed this thing looks really amazing.

I was thinking based on some of the spy photos that the car would have the dive plane spoilers; however, the pic/model do not show it. I forget whether the patent drawing had them either. Maybe its an "add-on" option?
