Default LSD options

Hi all,

I have removed the engine on my 964 and it will be boosted, see my other thread:
https://rennlist.com/forums/964-foru...rbo-build.html

Since the engine and transmission are out I obviously need an LSD, which leaves the question. Which one?

There are so many options out there.

Quaife
OS Giken
Carbonetic
Drexler
Porsche
Guard
wavetrack
etc.
etc.

I do not have enough experience with the above stated brands, only with Quaife, Kaaz and Cusco. There are huge price differences as well.

what are you running or what do you suggest? It is difficult to say I know, because everyone is "happy" as it is better than what they had before, likely standard.
The question is, who has run different LSD in their cars?

I did find some threads about this, but they don't really help at all, as there arent any track time or driver feedback.

Can't do any comparison, but I'm very happy with my 996Cup LSD.

I've tried Quaife, OS Giken, Porsche Motorsport, OEM street ones, and the Guard LSD's rank far above all for predictability, durability and adjustability.

This is a classic case of You get what you pay for.

MY C2 came without a LSD. I suppose you would mean modify the stock unit?

Yes, modifying is a better term.
