How do you remove/disassemble the hatch upper latch? Now - Hatch rattle fix.

I tried to Dremel it. Too many dimensions are out of whack. It won't be modifiable.

Yep, exactly what I discovered.

It's not even close to the stock dimensions.

I agree. put the cracked factory one back in. will have to live with that until Myles and Roger figure this out.

Gaawd I love this place....thanks for taking the time to show us this Bill.

im in the midst of swapping lock cylinders and replacing the plastic tounge. My rear hatch sits high with the rear quarters at the corners also and it has always bugged me. I hope this will help.

Tony, I saw your reinforcement work in the thread you started. LOOKS GOOD! The few things I tried were not nearly as strong as your work.
