Agreed, that look doesn't really work. I always wondered what it would be like to have quarter windows like a 928 and a flat hatch that lined up with the panel seams in the back while still using the stock spoiler. Something like this.

I contemplated that while looking for a hatch sealer, you might even be able to use a 928 window in a customframe...

Curious if anyone has seen the handmade 928 hatch with small window.... did it ever get completed?

You cant redesign the 924/944...and surely you cant redesign it in MS Paint.
The guys who made these cars were/are educated and talented...i doubt any one of us here comes close.

Anyway, how about a chop-top ? all glass would have to be different and it would tilt the proportions a bit.
