Following this thread now as well...my 992.1 arrived in Emden 5/29, and TYD went from showing an arrival date of July 22 to now showing expected delivery anywhere from July 5 to August 19.
Welcome! Pretty sure the Crystal Ray is our next chance at getting to the west coast. Maybe the stripper sounding name will be lucky.
Hey guys, in case helpful to other SoCal folks...below are the next slate of ships I'm seeing getting to San Diego:
Crystal Ray – June 15 to July 16
Glovis Caravel – June 27 to July 27
Harmony Leader – June 23 to Jul 24
Daedalus Leader – July 10 to Aug 2
The first date is day of arrival in Emden the next date is day of arrival in San Diego. I have two questions:
1. Are these shipping schedules generally accurate? If not how much variance is there? A couple days, a week?
2. Related to question one my dealership is telling me if I'm out of town (I'm gone 8/1 - 8/15) I have to pay for the car in full vs. them holding it for me and then me paying in full when I can see it in person. I don't mind doing this but should I be concerned at all and/or is this unorthodox? They'd be holding it for two weeks max. I get that's a long time so can understand their request for payment in full while I'm out of town just wanted to see what people thought.
After docking in San Diego yesterday, Wild Rose Leader is currently idling off the Southern California coast. Marinetraffic.com claims that the next stop is at a port in Los Angeles, but I'm not sure if that's accurate. Hopefully the ship gets underway again soon to Benicia...
I, too, am on Wild Rose Leader. According to NYK's published schedule, it looks like it will arrive at Port Hueneme today (June 5), depart tomorrow (June 6), and should arrive into Benicia on June 9.

Where did you get these dates from? Specifically, Crystal Ray?
By the way, even though it's still moored at Tilbury, it looks like Crystal Ray moved to a different pier overnight. Hopefully it means it's setting sail soon.
My C2S has been stuck in Emden since Jan/2024. Any one else?
Shipping dates continually gets pushed out and my SA has escalated to Porsche North America customer service supervisor but no updates.
Wondering if I should cut my losses and get something local.

Sorry to hear that. Squeaky wheel gets the oil. I’d keep asking for updates from your SA and call PCNA yourself.
Not a specific spec, but got it on MSRP w/o ADM, which was hard to find among the dealers I worked with at the time. Really don't wanna play that game again.

So sorry to hear that. I was stuck there since Feb 5 2024 and finally broke out on Dione Leader-arriving San Diego tonight. Definitely follow up with the manager and reps. Last I heard, there was a large back up of chip affected cars, approximately 500, that were being prioritized on ships to the states once receiving the chip replacement. Im assuming you were affected by this as I was.

FYI: Crystal Ray is finally on the move. Next port of call is Cuxhaven (lul) Germany, and hopefully Emden after that.
