Clean title with pink slip in hand for easy transaction.
I am the third owner. First owner leased car and then bought it (carfax identifies him as 2 owners like it often happens)
Car has 84k freeway miles. Car was never abused. Over rev report attached. Previous female owner (second owner) drove the car back and forth for work on the freeway.
Car was involved in 2 minor accidents (cosmetic only...no frame damage).
I did a PPI before purchasing it and everything was good. I can show PPI results with serious buyer and you are welcome to do your own PPI. No surprises.
Second owner bought the car from Carmax and purchased a $5000.00 dollars CNA warranty (Car Max Maxcare) that covers the car until May 2021 or 125k miles (whichever comes first).
If something goes wrong with the car, you pay a deductible of $150 and you are good to go.
Warranty is now under my name and it can be transferred to the new owner.
Car runs strong with no known issue.
Recent maintenance includes:
80k service
New oil change
New brake flush
New front and rear Michelin 4s tires
New coolant reservoir that started to develop a crack (preventive maintenance)
New trunk opener (I replaced it myself, easy process)
I have all the service records from previous owner as well. Clutch was replaced at 60k miles.
Paint is not concours level perfection (lots of driving on california freeways) and the passenger seat shows some wear (hole in it) that I will fix for interested serious buyer.
Car was serviced at Beverly Hills Porsche, Circle Porsche and most recently at EuroSpec motoring on Pico Blvd.
Asking $43,000.00 (includes warranty until 2021 or 125k miles for peace of mind).
No joy rides, serious buyers only.
Thank you for looking.

With a little cleanup, that should sell quickly at that price. Unusual to see a .2 with the better looking .1 triangular airbag steering wheel, which leads to the question as to whether there was airbag deployment in either of those 2 minor accidents where it was less expensive to replace the wheel and airbag pair rather than buy a new round airbag. People in the know may ask.

Hi Petza, I also sent you a private message.
Airbags did not deploy.
This is the original steering wheel that came with the car.
Option 431
431 Multifunction steering wheel with triangular center design, smooth leather (997.1-style, 2009 manual gearbox 997.2 only)
See attached link:
https://www.stuttcars.com/technical/option-codes/997.2/
I guess I have a rare option lol
Have a great day.

I have never seen a 997.2 (2009-2012) with a triangular airbag wheel - not a regular nor a multi-function. The 997.2 multifunction wheel was also 3-spoke and had a round airbag so from the options list alone, I don't think you can make the definitive statement that you have. If you look at post #1 in this thread
https://rennlist.com/forums/997-turb...ap-done-3.html
you can see what the 997.1 multi-function wheel looks like (I have these in both my '05s and the pic below is my modified one, but same structure)
vs 997.2 multi-function wheel, which looks like this if you don't want to go to the thread.
You can also google 997.2 steering wheel and won't find a triangular one in the lot.
https://www.google.com/search?q=997....3QCmUZIVUb34M:
It is possible that one of the previous owners preferred the look of the earlier wheel, like I do as it has much lest plastic on it than the .2 wheel, but with the accident history, all I'm saying is that it could raise the question, just like it did when I looked. I do believe the DME will store airbag deployment events (not sure if they are clearable) so your Porsche dealer could probably check that for you. I think they also show on a CarFax, but we know how reliable those can sometimes be.
Not trying to derail your sale and why I didn't want to post in the for sale thread.

From my understanding it was available only in 2009 on manual transmission.
The post you are referring to is from someone that did a swap in 2012.
They could have possibly changed the steering wheel by then to a newer model.
My car was produced in November of 2008.
I will ask anyway.
Thanks for your input.

Confirmed by this thread - https://rennlist.com/forums/997-foru...n-997-2-a.html
and by this Suncoast part listing that only fits 2010-2012. https://www.suncoastparts.com/produc...newproductpage
At least now you have a definitive answer in case a prospective buyer asks.
GLWS.

My 2009 MT 997.2 had the triangle steering wheel, lots of 09s have them.

IMS is not an issue in these years, correct? Can you shoot some pics I can look at through email? Are there details on the CARMAX warranty? Wish you were closer....Any shipping options to 18045?
