This is a Canadian car. If anyone wants to discuss the details surrounding import to the USA, please don't hesitate to contact me. 780-263-2631
I'm able to provide references for companies that can help get the car south of the border.

interesting to see that there is still only the one bid on the car. i'll guess being a Canada car is a detractor to many potential buyers from US, more so than lack of demand.
while i don't know the actual motivation for selling the car right after taking delivery, i can't help but be reminded of the people who buy limited art prints with the sole intention of flipping them for a quick buck. i hate that practice in the art world and my view is no different with other items. guess we'll see what the market says in this case.

There is two threads for this car on here I believe and it's comical to me how many people get butt-hurt about someone flipping this car.. they're making a dollar on a hot market, supply & demand..
GL with the sale as far as I'm concerned, someone will be happy!

Business is business but it's sad when it goes to a flipper who hasn't the slightest intention of driving it. There are enough dealers selling cars at exorbitant prices. Let's keep the new ones sacred.

I saw this ebay listing earlier today and did the math. You have to add the 2.5% export premium to the final number, then get some letter from PCNA then have it transported, so for me if the price ends at say $110K on ebay plus another $3K Import duty and maybe another $2K ship, so the car is $115K base to your doorstep, then you'll have to pay sales tax in your state as normal. In essence you are paying a $10K mark up.
I test drove this cars twin in LA today and offered them $1K over invoice, or $105,350. It's a well optioned car. They said they wanted $30K over, Ha! No thanks. It's a sweet car, and in white it's really beautiful, (I love white cars), but I think if we wait 6 months or so, they will start showing up more often and you'll pick one up for less that MSRP, albeit, slightly used.
The test drive was just OK being in LA, but I could certainly get some idea of how nice these cars are. I'd like one

was just reading usctrojan's thread in the GT4 forum where his "price probing" ebay auction got up to $118k for a US car with LWBs. and it's hard to tell if that was a legit bid or people on here just messing around with his auction. lots of the questions he got were clearly from RLers.
he didn't sell the car, but will be interesting to see how other auctions pan out.

Guarantee these "no reserve" auctions for in-demand cars have shill bidders in the wings - no way this guy is taking a chance on getting hosed by low bids. Another reason why Fleabay is such a sham.

I bet some legit Ebay buyers found my thread with their google-fu skills and knew that there wasn't much of a chance of me selling it. I just tested the market for chits and giggles. My reserve price was $160k.
