Offered for sale is one red / black, 1991 928 GT, 5 speed, with a supercharger installation and tuning done by Louie Ott. I purchased the car in February of 2010 with ~ 87k on the odometer. I drove it from Oregon down to San Francisco with no issues, and then back to Indiana a month later. The car ran great on these trips, and has continued to do so.

The timing belt and water pump were replaced ~78k miles. The SC was also installed around this time.

If you are looking for a car with records & receipts from day one, then this is not the car for you.

Below is a description of the work / modifications done by Louie:

Louie worked on the car for 6 months solid.

The SuperCharger kit is one by Andy Keel, heavily modified by Louie Ott.

The SC is a 2.4L size. The entire kit was reworked. It has the later cast intake manifold. The surfaces that fit on the cylinder heads at the intake ports were trued on a mill so that they fit flat on the heads. 944S2 intake gaskets are used and have no leaks and do not require over torquing to keep the seal.

Intake manifold ports are matched to the head ports and smoothed for better air flow. The InterCooler coolant flow to the IC was optimized. A Dedenbear IC pump was used, and a large Mocal IC heat exchanger was used in place of the heater core originally supplied.

The throttle actuator was completely changed to give nice linear throttle application. The SC drive was modified so the tensioner is now on the loose side of the belt as it should be, and another idler was added so the drive belt wraps further around the SC pulley. The belt doesn’t slip and doesn’t have to be tightened excessively.

The air filter is in front of the radiator and uses the normal 928 air filter. Clean air is smoothly accelerated into the MAF through custom CF ducting. A custom engine bay cross brace was made to not interfere with the intake air passage. This intake system alone gave a 15 hp increase over the standard K&N cone filter supplied in the kit. The exhaust is stainless 2.5” with an )( crossover and large Dynamax oval mufflers. It sounds nice and mean.

The engine has 42 lb injectors and both LH and EZ-K chips were optimized with the Sharktuner. Autometer boost, oil temp, and fuel pressure gauges are mounted on the A pillar.

The front brakes are GTS brakes. The suspension is coil overs with Koni external adjustable shocks and 928 Specialists front and rear sway bars. The clutch was changed out to one supplied by 928 International. The stock (new) clutch would slip. The pressure plate is stronger than stock and the disk has metallic segments, not composite like the stock disk. The clutch engages positively without any slip. It takes some practice to make smooth starts. Both fuel pumps were recently replaced.

This is one of the nicest running, smoothest, 928s I’ve driven. The SC is quiet and not noticeable. It has gobs of constant torque available anywhere in the RPM area. There is no lag, or change in torque with RPM.

Since purchasing the car I have done the following service work on it:

- Replaced oil pan gasket with Silicone Gasket from 928 SP.
- Replaced steering rack bushings with delrin bushings.
- Replaced both valve cover gaskets.
- 4 Wheel alignment by The Winning Formula.
- Replaced upper and lower radiator hoses.
- Replaced coolant (Zerex G-05) with 50/50 mixture.
- Replaced intercooler coolant (Zerex G-05) with 50/50 mixture.
- Short shifter (by Schickel-G).
- Oil + filter change (Amsoil 20W-50) @ 92,985 mi.
- New Battery – Champion - @ 92,800 mi.
- Replaced front bumper + chin spoiler + front end re-spray.
- Re-tensioned timing belt. @ 92,985 mi.
- Replaced blue hose from brake reservoir to master clutch cylinder.

I replaced the coolant with a 50/50 concentration as it is a bit colder here in the winter time than where the car lived in Oregon.

This vehicle is being sold as is, and is a 22-year-old car, and will have small flaws and imperfections. No warranty is expressed written or implied.

Seller assumes no responsibility for any repairs regardless of any oral statements about the vehicle.

That's one mean machine, I know it pulls like a bat outta hell.

I'm looking for a twinscrew setup right now.

GLWS.

Thanks Tim!

Mr. Piff - very different car w/ twinscrew, you won't regret putting it on your car if you go that route.

Car makes me :-) every time I drive it.

That thing is nice, I saw it in person at SITM. Louie Ott is one of maybe 6 gurus in america for tuning and I would have no concerns if Louie tuned it.
At any price that car is an opportunity for sure.
