Default Trailer flooring

I have an ATC 28’ enclosed aluminum trailer with aluminum floor. I’m wanting to lay down rubber flooring or mat to make it a little more friendly to my knees with better texture to prevent slipping. As well as keeping the darn thing clean or easier to clean. Would be nice to be able to pull it out and wash it from time to time. The trailer has carpeting on the walls and don’t want them getting wet. Was thinking about garage flooring things like race deck, etc. Anyone have any suggestions?

Just be mindful of how grippy hot track tires are, if you will be driving the car onto removable floor covering.

Even the factory glued down rubber coin flooring peels up and bubbles. There is no great solution, but I have slipped on the aluminum flooring, so I'm sticking with my bubbling floor for now. Will follow this thread

You could try rubber horse mats. They are thick and heavy, and just a few would do your trailer.

The 2x2 thick foam mats are great on you knees for kneeling and placing straps. Lights are much brighter without the dark floor and after having both the aluminum is the easiest to keep clean with a mop or leaf blower.

Lowes pads stack well and go away when you want to hide them. Pick up a few, your knees will thank you .

Thanks all for the suggestions. Im considering this. The trailer floor is 8x26, so this should cover the vast majority. Hopefully not too difficult to cut for tie downs and wheel wells.

I have rubber coin flooring and carpet walls. It's not easy to keep clean. I got a roll of carpet from Home Depot, cut to width/length, and I roll it out when the car is out of the trailer, roll it back up to the front of the trailer when I load the car. Replace when it gets dirty.
